whats that taste?

Okay so I've been trying to figure this out for a while. Lately I've been vaping citrusy juice (mostly cause its all I have untill I get ny new order) and I get a weird taste after about 10 drags. Im using an ego with a mega atty and a 520 atty switching on and off. Its almost like a savorty meaty flavor or a pool water flavor. I can't pin point it. I know that's a drastic change in flavor assumption too.

I pulled out my cart and found loose cast filler inside the atty and pulled it all out atleast I think I did. But im still getting that flavor. Its kind of bumming me out. Is it cause of the juice or do I still have filler burning in my atty???? I am vaping orange and lemon drop and both produce the same flavor after a few vapes in all my attys. What the heck and I doing wrong????

What kind of pool are you swimming in? LOL Have you snooped in really close . . . you can get a rogue fiber from the cart under your bridge and ruin your day. It happened to me a couple times before I quit and just went to dripping. You have to get in with a pair of tweezers to get it out. Other than that, at 10 puffs close together, you're atty is probably getting pretty dry. They take a while to wick. IDK, just my thoughts.

yeah by pool water i meant like a chemical taste.. chlorine was a close match i guess... but i narrowed it down to like a grilling hamburger flavor... like when i open my grill... i know that sounds super weird... and my profile pic / avatar pic is of me grilling...

any ways yeah i think i need to keep getting in thier with tweezers. but when i top of my cart the taste goes away and its back to the regular juice flavor. imma try pushing the cart filler deeper into my cart and see if it helps.

i would drip but i get really poor vapor... when i try even with my mega atty on my ego. i havent dripped my 510 atty cause i dont have a tip for it. Actually my ego kit came with a drip tip... only reason i have one right now, heh.

Sounds like a stray fiber then. When your atty starts to dry out a bit, the heat can start to get to the fiber more. Careful that you don't get a bit of the actual wick when your tweezing. Good luck to you.

Jason- I know what you're talking about. If this is the actual problem I'm thinking about, then this is the taste you will get from almost ALL juices when your atomizer is BARELY just starting to run dry. This can usually be fixed by adding a few more drops of juice. Hope this helps

Oh and another thing- you should REALLY consider getting a drip tip and starting dripping. This will fix pretty much ALL "weird/bad taste" issues that you've experienced while using carts. Trust me. Once you drip you'll never go back to carts.

I had one that produced great vapor )joye 510 for about 1 month, and the other day it got burnt flavor even though I was keeping it moist. Not sure what happend, but maybe I didnt keep it wet enough between flavors. I took it apart, and the little piece of wick that is wrapped in coil was completely incenerated. just black granuals. That has happened to a couple of mine.

Yeah I was pulling some gnarly fibers outta my atty. I think Imma try some blue sponge to minimize fibers going stray

check this link out. You can still use a cart if you want, but I like to drip. take those little wicks out. I use needle nose (really tiny ones) to get it out instead of a toothpick like in the video

The poor vapor sounds like you may be flooding the atty when you drip. Most drip three drops or so at a time. I've also found that it's practically impossible to flood the 306 LRs.

Thanks for the link. I actually did this last night... the video would of helped before I went to town on the wick lol
