i used to use 510/808 sticks that never really worked for me.. still have a bunch of cartomizers

can someone explain to me what all these new cartos are like stardust and stuff?

also i'm looking to get a new kit with better battery life and was wondering which kit is the best right now from got vapes?

i also don't want to use the cotton gauze filled cartomizers any more.. i would like to move on to the kind where i can see the liquid still left tube.. but all these names just have me confused..

thanks for any help

FWIW, I'm sold completely on the Vivi Nova. I got my hands a few of the version 2s and I can't imagine them coming up with something that improves on that, but there's version 2.5 on the way soon from what I've heard. No polyfil, no messing with anything, just fill and go. Flavour and vapour production are the best of anything I've tried.

The Stardust is a close second for me. Flavour and vapour are virtually the same as the Vivi Nova. The only drawback for my personal preference is that it's ego threaded so I have to use an adapter on my APV to use it.

Can't really help you as far as what the best kit is but I'm sure some of the pros will be along shortly for that.

what exactly is the difference between the phoenix and the stardust? are they better than the vivi nova?

The Phoenix I posted the link to is a bottom coil (also available in a top coil version) that is very easy to clean and is a 3ml tank. The Stardust is a top coil and holds 1.6 ml. I personally prefer the Phoenix 3ml bottom coil. It gives better flavor in my opinion. Like most things vaping there are many varied opinions and preferences. For me researching on ECF has helped me tremendously but I have found that experiencing a product personally is the only way I can truly judge it. Keep asking questions and hang in there....:)

This... LINK.... and a couple of these.... LINK.... and you will be good to go. Of course this is just a suggestion. You might also look into these (my favorite)....LINK.... but you will need a syringe to fill them.

A most excellent suggestions!!! The stardust is extremely fiddle free and super easy to fill!!!

is everyone pretty much recommending the ego-t? what's the main difference with the ego c.. i know the twist has voltage adjustment but whats with the C vs T?

The ego-T kit comes with 2 batteries....Where the C is just the 1 vv.

The T originated cause of the ego tank system, and I think they have kept the T for all the ego batts that have the 5 click shutoff feature. The only C that I have seen have been the VV twist (why C??? good question...ask China:laugh:)

Silversx,
If you like the looks and feel of the stick style batts. just not the preformance...check out the Volt Karma starter kit listed on the Gotvapes site. I have been using mine for a week or so and really do like it.

problem with the volt is that i can't use the ego tanks right? like the nivi nova? well i guess i can but it would look ......ed?

Ok... there has been a bit of misinformation here that is just buggin' me... so I'll correct or clarify it some...

Currently GotVapes does not carry a eGo-C Twist Kit ... they only have the batteries at this moment. To create a kit, select two twist batteries, a charger and your carto/clearo of choice along with a case if wanted.

They do however carry both the eGo-T and eGo-C full kits. The main difference ( besides the battery options available ) is with the type of eGo tank that each come with... the T comes with an all in one atty that uses the tank... the C version is similar but the coils for the atty is modular which makes it cheaper in the long run IF you like this type of tank system, many people do not because they are prone to leaking and have a weak flavor on the vape... An eGo type battery can use either an eGo threaded carto/clearo/atty or a 510 threaded one...

Ok... There are 3 kinds of Phoenix clearo's... The eGo threaded 3ml bottom coil version... the 510 threaded 1.5ml bottom coil and the 510 threaded 1.5ml top coil version. Notice only one of the three is eGo threaded.

The Viva Nova is a 510 theaded tank using a CE2 type of replacably head on it... it is not an eGo thread as someone else mentioned.

The Stardust is an eGo threaded clearo and as mentioned if you get a 510 type of PV, you'd need to use an adapter.

As to which type of kit or PV to go with... this is a tough one because it depends on personal preference more. First you would want to consider how much you vape.... if you are a chain vapor.... a slim cigarette size PV like the 510 or the Volt Karma would probably only last between 45 minutes to 1 1/2 hrs. The 650mah eGo or similar kit would last 4-6 times longer, a 1000mah would go somewhere in the neighborhood of 6-8 hrs .... All of these times are subjective and actually depend on how you vape...

Unless you are a light vapor... I probably wouldn't recommend a slim sized PV but there are still times when these are nice ... say going into a restaurant that allows vaping where you aren't going to be there long enough to vape 1 or 2 batteries worth.

On the little bit larger PV's... I'd recommend one of the variable volt units such as the eGo Twist or Innokin iTaste. If even a little larger in size doesn't bother you... you may want to consider the Bolt and add a Kick to it perhaps... or maybe the Tox Cannon even. The nice thing about the larger units is they have replacable batteries which are much cheaper to replace and will also last much longer than the eGo's or iTaste

There is certainly a lot to consider...

I have an ego-C upgrade PT. It's not a twist but has the regulated/unregulated option, so who knows why they designate C :D

hehe....see..... I have no clue what designates the C

to me...and ego is an ego...till you get to the vv twist.

oops...forgot about that c kit.....using the changeable atomizer....well, that may be where the C comes from, but don't know why they kept the C on the vv twist then
