I recently got two eVic Basics 40W from joyetech® because they were on sale and my other batteries were starting to break. Are there better tanks for them than the "TFV8 Big Baby" I want a tank that produces more powerful hits than mine if possible (the tank capacity doesn't really matter to me). Also, if there is not a better tank for that 40W battery which of the below coil heads is the best one for the TV8 Big Baby?
Here is a link to the TFV8 Big Baby from SMOKTECH® (my first tank that shows it's coil heads: TFV8 Big Baby - SMOK® Innovation keeps changing the vaping experience!

Hi,
Sorry to say... That device is NOT powerful enough for any of the coils listed.
If you want big clouds you will need a two battery device.
(Presuming you want to use over 40watts regularly and have more than a hour of battery life. )
The evic will power most MTL tanks. Zenith/GSAir/EGOMEGA/NautV2

Cheers

Yes, that mod can only put out a maximum of 40 watts, (for a very short time) it's really designed for MTL vaping, not DL sub0hm vaping it will not be powerful enough to run any of your coils.

I'd also recommend a 2 battery mod. If you are looking for something on the smaller side as far as mods, the Eleaf Invoke is the best two battery removable mod I've come across for lightness and handfeel, without sacrificing build quality. However, you may well find something you like better.

Depending on how you vape, and at what wattage, you will need to learn the basics of battery choice, charger (external) choice, selecting the right batteries for your needs and etc. You may also find a better mod for you if you do some digging there are a ton of nice options.

Well the coil that it came with does work... although admittedly not that well. I do not find big clouds that important but a powerful throat hit is important. I just bought these batteries and I'm not sure I can return them. In the event that I can't which of those coils is best given my situation?

"Throat hit", by strict definition, is primarily the result of the nic concentration of your e-liquid. Higher nic = more throat hit. Pg (propylene glycol) also plays a minor role in throat hit, too.

The only coil for your tank that falls in your mod's power range is the:

V8 Baby-Q2: 0.6 Ω dual coils, 20-50W / BEST: 30-40W.

The big baby is a big air tank.

If you have some wire (28 AWG) you could build the "3.) V8 Baby RBA:" with a higher resistance and restrict the airflow considerably and you might be able to force the BigBaby to cooperate in the 25-30watt range.

If I do get a more powerful battery which of these do you think would be best for under 50$ (if that's possible).

51-100 Watt https://www.myfreedomsmokes.com/batteries-mods-vape-mods/box-mods/100-watt.html

101-200Watt https://www.myfreedomsmokes.com/batteries-mods-vape-mods/box-mods/200-watt.html

Honestly, you can do better for cheaper. I don't trust vape shops to not sell rewraps, just like everyone else (although I guess some vendors are better than others.) If they're authentics, they will also be hugely marked up. I would buy from Mooch's list of approved vendors, I will link his blog and the last cell should tell you vendors that are known authentic sellers. You will find they are much less expensive from those vendors as well. Sorry, I'd link the chart, but I always seem to fail at that. It's easy to find though. My preferred vendor is IMRbatteries.com, they are fast, inexpensive and as a nod to safety they will also send a battery case and usually a couple rewraps. I am going to link Baditude's blog too, as he also has some great info. But, unless you can only FIND the battery you want in a vape shop (I know the 27-- series can be a bit tricky) then buy from trusted sellers, it really is the best, cheapest and SAFEST way to go. Best of luck,
