What's the deal with iClears? Bleck!!

Everyone is raving about the iClear 30s. So I bought a couple to try. First, they leak into my mouth. No matter how hard I try, I can't get the rubber gasket straight. Second, the flavor of the juices is muted compared to the Vivi Novas. Third, the draw is way too airy. Fourth, right away, the juice tastes burnt even on low wattage. I'm not impressed, I'll stick with my Vivi Novas.

What is it people like about these? I don't get it.

I have not tried them...never will. They are just too big. BUT, I do LOVE the 16's...now these are the "Bee's Knees" LOL Seriously, I do love em, and recommend em

I got a couple in a co-op they're not my favorite ether. I don't care for the drip tip on top and they can be gurgly, I think the i16 work better

It appears as if there are many people who like them. I have not tried the either, but perhaps someone who DOES like them will share their setup and setting with you to compare with. In the mean time... If you don't like them, then you can always try sending them to someone who does

I have 1 iclear30 -- it is fantastic!

I received 2 iclear16s with my itaste MVP and loved them at first, but they do have a tendency to leak from the bottom connector, and gurgle due to condensation build-up (occasionally I have to tilt them to drain out the moisture from the drip tip).

With the iclear30 -- no funny taste, no burnt/dry hits, easy to refill, no leaking, no gurgling unless I fill above the 3ml line. It lasts at least half the day and I've drained them pretty dry. The excess wicking keeps them moist and active. And I like the tighter draw than my Protanks.

I got used to the metal tip from using a Protank, and I still prefer plastic drip tips, but what can you do? My iclear30 has been working fantastically, and I would like to pick up a few more very soon.

Most people I've talked to feel the same as you, jefsview. They love them!

Question: Does it matter if the rubber thing is off center? I was thinking, that is why mine are leaking from the top and are gurgly. I only filled them to the line.

I have 2 iClear 30's and I'm one of the people who love them, as for the rubber thing, i take it you mean the rubber cap under the top. It does fit the top cap so needs to be somewhere near centre.

I do not like the drip tip but got used to it, and no leaks here. Make sure the wick attachment is fully screwed in tight and the caps also.

As for gurgling try taking it off and blowing through the tip onto some tissue, that hopefully will cure it.

Kycap, yes, the rubber cap. It looks off center. I tried to straighten it with a pin, thinking that it wasn't flush with the mouthpiece, and that was what caused the leaking. Does it even matter?

My iClear 30 is also somewhat off center, but usually not enough to interfere with the seal... but every once in a while I do get a mouthful of juice. Try removing the tank and adjusting the stem towards the center with a pair of pliers.

For me I have to treat my iClear30 like a genny and keep it standing up to avoid the gurgling. I also never fill it to the 3ml line.

Lol, bleck is such a fun word. Nope, never tried it. I'm happy with Vivi novas, they have a few issues, but I've learned how to fix them. I've heard people say they like the Evod.

Of the ones I have:
Protank mutes the juice for me, but has great vapor.
The evod tastes great but has a smaller capacity.
The T3s have average vapor and great flavor.
Vivi nova has good vapor, but muted flavor.
Dripping attys have good flavor and vapor, but it's dripping, so not very much capacity
The Vapeonly BCC has good capacity and flavor, but burns easily.

...there is something wrong with MOST devices. you find those that work for you and use it.

I've been rocking mine at 4.5 volts and never once had a burnt taste..

not sure what is wrong with yours..

make sure you fill only to the line below top (2.5) otherwise you will be more prone to leaking

I really like my iClear30. Never had any leaking or burnt taste. I almost prefer it to the Protank...but now that I've tried the Evods, I'm LOVING those!

I really liked the Novas when I first started out..then once I started trying other things, I've come to see just how much they Mute Flavors..hubby still uses them only though...he really likes the Novas

Kena, I think the Kanger T3 mutes the flavor just as badly as the iClears do. Different strokes for different folks, I guess. With the iClears I could barely recognize the flavors of my two favorite juices. There was barely any flavor at all.
