So after seeing positive review, after positive review of mothers milk by suicide bunny, I took the plunge and decided you know what, i'll give it a try. I'm personally not a dessert kind of vaper, more fruits/sweets/mints. So I guess in a way I'm not the kind of person to judge a dessert flavour, but I just didn't get it.

I left it to steep for a good 5/6 days and breathed it over the course of said days. Finally I got round to trying it, excitedly wicked up my cotton on my dripper, took a nice big pull... AND.... meh. It just tasted slightly like toffee, but not particularly a nice toffee.

It's meant to be a strawberry custard vape.

I know American custards are different to UK custards, so maybe American custards do taste slightly like toffee??? Though strawberry, I couldn't taste any strawberry. It was just disappointing to be honest.

I just don't know what I'm missing.

Anyone tried Mother's milk and want to give me their insight?

I thought it was just there. Its not bad, its pleasant, its just not something I care about enough to buy again. And it was heavy, I tend to stay away from juices that start to make my chest feel heavy if I vape it too much or too often. Id rather vape Unicorn milk if I want that flavor. I love thier sucker punch and madrina though.

It's ~OK~ to me - not fantastic. I think a lot of people are going by the limited options they have at $/mL and the ability to chain vape something.

In terms of custard flavor I think their 'Arise' (Max VG) is a bit more custardy than MM. Neither is a great custard to me though - I look at BRV or Big Willie's for that. Cheers, -Mags

Diacetyl doesn't taste good to some people...

I did read that some of Suicide Bunny's e-liquids had been tested and shown to have contained Diacetyl. Though this was mid last year I think (I may stand corrected). An as far as I'm aware, she rectified the situation and removed diacetyy from her products. So I'm pretty certain the e-juice I procured, won't have been a batch containing diacetyl. Maybe that's why the flavour wasn't up to scratch? As what gave it, it's creamy buttery flavour(diacetyl) had been removed.

Well problem is, or so I'm told, American Custards and UK Custards taste different aha. So I honestly didn't know what to expect really. We have a lot of American Imported E-juice in the UK and it's all generally expensive.

I don't know how different but different enough that fish sticks and custard is workable in the UK. Not so in the US. -Mags

My dad got suckered into buying MM at a local vape shop when it was one of their featured premium juices. I intensely disliked it. Too eggy and not enough flavor. Like it fell really flat after a few draws. Unicorn Milk and Boosted are my two favorite strawberries and cream vapes. Cottontail Cream, by Lost Art, is a good one if you want something really super sweet. At 1.9ohms it wasn't bad, but sub-ohming it made is cloyingly sweet. Not an ADV, by any stretch.

I have not tried this flavor, or vendor. However, I have found that I like cream/custard/some bakery flavors much more after at least a 2 week steep. I don't breathe them or anything, I just leave them in the tool box that I use for vaping supplies, caps on.

How you perceive the taste of eliquids can also depend on the equipment you are using, too. I am using an Evod Glass with dual coils on an Evod 650 mah battery.

Mother's Milk is one of those flavors that changes drastically depending on the amount of nicotine you vape. A 6mg/ml bottle to me tastes completely different than the same flavor at 18mg/ml. That said I'm not a fan of this e-juice either, the strawberry is there but gets significantly overpowered by that creme base. Unicorn Milk is a better alternative or maybe Boosted which is also a similar strawberry/cream/custard flavor. If you experiment a little I'm sure you could DIY a similar flavor and be completely happy with the results, the flavor isn't that complex at all.

When MM first came out, shops couldn't keep it in stock. It was so delicious and tasted exactly like Nestle Quik Strawberry milk. Then, SOMETHING happened. Something changed and it was never the same.
While I can't think of anything that is close to MM, I discovered One Hit Wonders; Milk Man. This substance tastes exactly like a strawberry milkshake, and/or God's sweat. So freaking delicious.
I highly recommend as a great substitute for MM.

On my dripper I vape 0mg and in my tanks 3mg. I cut down over the months, since quitting smoking, from 24mg and want to end up on 0mg all around. So I use my dripper for flavour and clouds, then have my tanks to relax and get my nicotine fix. Yeah, Milkman and Unicorn milk as been brought up a few times, so may try those two.
The Milkman does a flavour called Churrios, so may try that aswell.

It will be because the older juices by Suicide Bunny contained diacetyl, the chemical they use when making popcorn to give it that buttery yum taste. Though diacetyl has been in the news the past year as there is a lot of ooo'in and ahhh'in, as to whether diacetyl has been linked to certain lung problems. So most e-juice manufacturers have removed it from the juice. Which is what made me think hmm, as a lot of the reviews I had seen, were made before the diacetyl was removed(not that I want to be vaping diacetyl). So I'm thinking maybe the buttery edge diacetly gave it, was what made it so hyped.

I'm vaping at 3mg, in a dual claptop coil build at 0.35ohm, sittong on a velocity clone with a 150w Sigelei TC. Though you do make a good point. Aside from taste being subjective to start with, a lot of things can affect the flavour of the juice. I may just leave it to steep a further week and not touch it, see if it improves the flavour at all.

Vapor Shark tested it, in the 500 range if I remember correctly

Are you sure it was The Milkman? I know of companies like Suicide bunny with Mother's Milk, previously being tested and showing to have contained diacetyl before they removed it from there juices.

I checked the test results from Vaporshark and the milkman isn't listed.

I only really heard of The Milkman recently after seeing it on the Online vape shop I order from and looking at reviews. So you could well be right, I don't know much about the company.
