So I'm a brand new vaper (3 days), and I just stumbled onto e-cig.com and noticed that their prices for e-liquids seem ludicrously low compared to everyone else I've seen, which surprised me, since I hadn't heard anyone mention them on the forums or FAQs etc. Then I noticed that they're selling the infamous "e-......" that I'd heard mentioned. Is that why nobody seems to talk about them? Because they're considered disreputable because of that? Should I avoid them? Cause their deals seem too good to pass up. Are their liquids decent quality? Or are we blackballing them for giving our community a bad rep?

They sell E8's and E9's. Personally, I would avoid those models. When looking at buying your PV the best to do is understand the model, not the brand or even where you are getting it. If you don't like the model - it all becomes a moot point.

The best question to answer when choosing your first ecig is this: How many do you currently smoke?

If the answer is 1 pack a day or more, anything that resembles an analog (real cig) is likely not a good idea. They aren't powerful enough to satisfy...

Ohh, you said eliquids... well no idea then.

Liquid is a taste preference. People will pay more if they like something and if they don't, then it doesn't matter how cheap it is. You can get 50 ml for Dekang juice for $11, for example. Cheap. I don't like it personally, so i don't much care if it was $5.

Edit: I did go back and look at the juice. It is certainly cheap. 50ml for $8. I am sure there are people on this that have tried it... so someone will eventually comment that has... most likely.

Well I already bought my first kit, a Vapure, which from what I've read seems to be a branded E9 (or uses E9 compatible cartos at least). I was really eager to get started and didn't research very thoroughly beforehand, just bought it cause it was available at local retail. I've actually been pretty happy with it so far, and considering that I smoke(d) only about 3/4 of a pack a day, I think it might end up working for me (resembling analog is important to me, cause I'd rather not get weird looks from people at work).

But ignoring all that for a second, the thing that really got my attention on e-cig.com was their prices on liquids, which are insanely low: 30ml for $6.25, 300ml(!) for $35. At those prices you're basically smoking for free, and it just made me wonder if there's a catch.

Edit: oops, didn't see your second post before replying.

Just make sure when you are looking at liquids to be aware if they are liquids incl the nic and ones that are flavorings only without nic. The ones that are flavorings only are usually much cheaper. PA has them for about $3 for 15ml. I'm sure you know this but it took me a while to catch on. What you are describing sounds pretty reasonable in price. Let us know how they taste, k?

I vape a different pv around collegues also, one that looks more like the real thing. They are such an out of touch bunch that it's better to be pc than cause a stir.....

Well, if you are in need of liquid, FSUSA has a 40% sale on their 120 ML bottles right now.... there is a thread in that forum section for it...

I just got a big order... hmmm... don't really need juice right now - but it is tempting...

Just did the math... that is only $24 for 120ml.... that is a good deal.

Here is the link: Just a sale... but if in need.

Yeah, that is a damn good deal, though still not quite as good as....... - they are based out of China btw, though they claim to be able to ship to US in a few days. I'm too much of a newb though to be able to order in bulk amounts, since I haven't yet figured out what I like in terms of PG vs VG, nicotine level etc. The other cool thing about ........... though is they have 4ml bottles for .89 cents... I think I might order a bunch of those, one of each base mix, in various different nic strengths, all the same flavor... then do a controlled experiment to find out which mix I like best.

Yes, yes, yes, don't know and yes.

Actually, I can only speak for myself on all the yes answers. They're among the handful of offshore idiots mixing pharmaceuticals into their e-juices, and I'd not mind seeing all such lowlifes thrown under a bus.

Not for nothing but I'd be wary simply because of the cheap price... agreeing with PolicallyIncorrect about the added chemicals that may or may not be in any given liquid - something akin to the saying if you can't pronounce it do you really want to be eating or vaping it?
Even if I bought the most expensive juice out there, it would be a savings compared to analogs!

I'm a huge fan of liquids from fsusa. Their current sale of 40% off 120ml bottles is really, really a good price because they have quality products. Other reputable sites sell hardware cheaper than fsusa, but I cannot imagine better e-juice. Their shipping is a few days longer than most (order, and get your products 7 days later) but worth it. They mix to order, and it's quality stuff. Worth a few bucks more, and they always have good sales. The 40% off 120 ml bottles is a great deal. They charge only $5 shipping no matter what you order. Good luck!

A friend at work gave me his starter kit (E8) that he got from this site as he did not take to vaping as he had thought he would. I brought it home and started vaping the shorty battery and it CAUGHT ON FIRE WHILE IN MY MOUTH !!!! I had to throw it in the sink and pour water on it in fear of it exploding! I later took the battery apart to see hat it did in fact burn up inside leaving the electronics black and crispy. Take the risk if you want but I would never recommend this product.

I've ordered from e-cig.com and while their prices are cheap the shipping is a little expensive. I ordered from them once and haven't since not that I had any problems but I think there was a 15 dollar shipping fee. So if do you order internationally be prepared for the shipping fee and the wait time. And don't forget customs. There was a thread last week I think where the poster's shipment was delay by customs.

But aren't all E8/E9 products just rebranded versions of the identical hardware? I find it hard to believe that their E8/E9 batteries could be any worse quality than any other E8/E9 battery, if they're all being manufactured by the same company (which they sure look like they are).

How cheap is too cheap? Where do you draw the line? Would you put super-cheap tires on your car and wonder if they'll actually keep your car on the road or have enough grip to stop you in an emergency? If you had pets would you feed them the cheapest pet "foods" you could find? If you have kids would you feed them no-name hot dogs all day? Stick to the highly rated suppliers mentioned here on ECF.

Avoid e-cig.com. Ordered from there a while back. Only one item out of a dozen was correct. Took over 3 weeks to arrive. Terrible customer service, if you can even get a hold of them. When I finally managed to get someone on a chat screen, they advised me that the descriptions on their website were not accurate and that they would not accept a return for refund or credit. The batteries I recieved were mediocre, and the rest of the items were either DOA or not even remotely close to what was shown on the website. If you want cheap and reliable chinese sites, go with healthcabin or heavens gift. Haven't ordered from Greenhouse one, but since they are in the suppliers section, they couldn't be too bad.
