whats the difference between an ego and an ego t battery?

The ego is out of stock. I use attys. can I use those with an ego-t batt?

Yep,the only difference tween the eGo and eGo-t is the atomiser,the eGo-t uses a tank atomiser and tank cartridges
anything that works on a eGo,works on a eGo-t

Ego-T batteries all have the 5-click on/off function. Regular Ego batteries do not... unless they say so.

Also Ego batteries are 650 mah and Ego T batteries are 1000 mah . They both have the 510 threading.

Sorry, chatter97, but eGo batteries (with or without 5-click) are all standard 650mAh. They are both available in "Mega" 1000 sizes, though I haven't personally seen 1000mAh batteries with the 5-click safety.

I have bought two ego T bateries, each at 1000 mah. This kit has the same batteries that I am describing. You can buy just the ego T bats which are 1000 mah and have the 5 press protection.

Sure, but again, those are Mega batteries... even that page mentions a few times to ignore what the included manual says about the battery size (meaning the standard battery is not 1000)... the OP was asking the difference about eGo and eGo-T batteries and whether or not his atty will fit.

Any battery branded with "eGo-T" will have the 5-click on/off. Other "eGo" batteries (branded or not, 650 or 1000, original or clones, passthroughs, variable volt, etc) may or may not, depending on the description...

Which is where the 510 threading comes in,so yes it will fit and it will fit any 510 threaded devise.
