I just bought my second ProVari. I also have a Lavatube, a ZMax & several ePowers & eGos. I bought the ZMax because of it being VW. I like the ZMax, but if I don't remember to shut it off, it changes settings in my pocket. My ProVari doesn't. It stays however I set it.

I like the hit I get on the ProVari & it's the same until the battery dies. The ZMax has a good hit & it stays pretty good, if it doesn't change in my pocket. Actually, I think I get better battery life on the ZMax.

I bought the second ProVari because of the uncertainty in the vaping world. Also, the button on the ZMax is getting flaky. It's 4 months old. The Lavatube is over a year old & works just fine, so I'm not hard on PV's. It, of course, looks like it's a year old! The ProVari is 9 months old & works like new. Doesn't look bad, either.

I keep saying that the best PV ever made is the one that gets you off cigs & keeps you off. For me, that's a ProVari.

Is that a Provari in your pocket or are you.....................;)

Unless someone has the opportunity to actually try/test a provari or simply buys one by chance, such as myself, it is truly difficult to explain to someone what the actual build quality and the vaping experience of the said is like. Words cannot equate to the actual use of one.

An industry insider told me that the next generation of ProVari's won't require batteries. They are going to be powered by smugness. I hope they make an atty that can handle that amount of power ;-)

Well, then, I can see your side of the argument, but you can't see ours. I understand, though.

I have another +1 for Provari though I don't plan on buying one - it has a higher amp limit and works with dual coils.

I am sorry, Rocket. I will never see the light. Actually, I remember contemplating buying a Darwin when I first started. Never hear anyone mention those anymore.

My mod envy really only kicks in with the REO.

I have never owned an electronic device--I'm a tinkerer and an experimenter. I have never found any of my friends "VV/VW" devices to up to par with my sub 1 ohm silica builds. In fact, my friends are trying like hell to replicate my vape, and are just getting frustrated. THey offer me loads of cash for my GG/Poldiac/Ody/Penny set-ups because their AGA-T/Cobra/ZAU cannot fulfill like my all mechanical low ohm builds.

It's a matter of taste. I would go crazy with anything below 20 watts. I vape 0-6mg juice--I technically can just stop vaping, but I enjoy the hot sweet steam. I've gone days without a vape (from 2 PAD over a year ago).

I just love the blast of heat and the clouds of vapor I get going mechanical and sub 1 ohm.

Everyone has their ideal spot, as well as money situations, as well as their place in the kicking the cigarette habit.

Once you are free and clear of the risk of relapse, it becomes a game for many (including me) to see how far we can push it.

This is where we differ in our vape preference. I don't care for the heat at all. I prefer cool and smooth (I was a menthol light smoker).

I'm getting LOL clouds of vapor with my 2.0 ohm coil on a Provari, so we're on equal ground there. And I'm perfectly happy being able to adjust my voltage with the Provari to suit the particular flavor I have in my AGA's.

I haven't had the opportunity to sample your sub- 1 ohm mechanical, but from the way you described yours I likely wouldn't care for it. Glad you've found your sweet spot, as I have, too. :)

Joke made in bad taste. Forgive me.

Stugotz = Tony Soprano's boat.

The gist was: a girl always trumps an ecig, in my book.

But a Provari is a close second.

HAHA! now I feel dumb

I was a bit unclear also, what I meant by my original comment was I would rather someone give me a Provari vs me paying for it. Which on another level could be interpreted as I would rather get a girl for free vs me paying for her.

I regret not getting one when I had the funds. We live and learn. I want one for the performance and the collections. So when I have saved enough from not smoking I will get one. If you look at my banner though in 16 days of not smoking I have already paid for it. Just need to get my kids to understand that daddy did pick up a hobby when he stopped smoking.

I still have not been able to understand the advantage of the sub- 1 ohm coil on an RBA and mechanical mod. I own both a Silver Bullet and a Provari. I bought my first AGA T2 with full intentions of putting it on the Bullet. But after trying that setup and then using the AGA on my Provari, I found that I still prefer being able to adjust the voltage according to the flavor of the juice I happen to be using (I change flavors frequently).
I think mechanical mods are best dedicated to a particular juice or group of juices where a genny can be coiled and wicked specific to that/those. Hence some people have a table full of mechanical mods for such. But when you swap juices all the time in the same genny, electronic PVs are most suitable.
