Correct,Its also smaller than the provari,uses a 14500 battery instead of the 18490/18650 but has many safety features built in.

The Proavpe 1 is the original 3.7 volt Provape design... I had one.. It had brass atty threads, the top cap could be removed and replaced by user. Both the top and bottom caps were aluminium. The electronics were diffrent as it had no 16 second button cut-off.. The V2.1 was a great improvement.. added a non removable all stainless top cap and stainless bottom cap... A 16 second cut off was also added to the computer chip....
