What's the word on the street about these batteries? Listman 18650 2600mah 36A

I found these while goofing around the other day. I've never heard of them but they claim to be rewrapped LGs but they don't go into any specifics. I'm hoping someone here can shed some light on them and their quality.

No idea here. They list the max discharge at 20A so there are a few LG's it could be.
Do you know if they are they selling for less than the 20A or higher LG's (HE2, HE4, HB6, HD2, HG2)? If not, I say buy the LG's

That's a pretty good price. If they're genuine LG's, and also not LG rejects, perhaps they would be worth trying out. Hopefully someone else can join in with a link to someone's testing results.

We can compare the can shape and top configuration. It might not tell us what cell it really is but we should be able to tell if it's an LG or not.

[edit] I have pictures of the can and cell top/bottom as part of each cell test I do. Some of the earlier ones are lousy (blurred) but I can always compare a picture you take with the actual LG's I have here.

I wasn't really looking for batteries when I found them. I found a bundle deal on amazon with a nitecore charger and 2 of the mentioned batteries. I had never heard of them before so then my curiosity took over, and I've just been trying to find reliable info on them. It doesn't seem that any exist yet though.

They break apart laptop packs, separate the individual batteries in them, wrap them to look like sought after batteries and sell them- usually on eBay or through Amazon...
