What is this lingering sweet that coats my throat? Is it from VG, flavor or just liquid in general? Will LV atty change that?

I started chain vaping to keep away the "I want a cig" cravings---and am now on the trail for the right flavors, PG/VG combos & equipment. About 6 weeks analog free--from 2 1/2 pks day for years to none in two weeks. Am currently using ego type and ego tank interchanging them. Got some LR atty's on order. So, of course, I'm looking for the perfect vape (like everyone).

I'm sure my tastes are changing (like daily), but recently have been plagued with an off sweetness that overbears everything -- even pure cig from Freedom Smokes-- and now everything tastes practically the same and my throat is coated with that sweetness. I like sweet, but this is getting annoying! I wanted a cig yesterday to clean my palate and stayed with tobacco flavors only! Didn't work! Still had the taste this morning.

I'm currently trying 18 and 24 mg liquid. I usually use 70pg30vg & 60pg40vg. All are US made and most from well reviewed sources. Could it be the VG?

Would appreciate your input.

Perception of flavor is different for everyone. Some, like me, can persistently taste PG if it is present. Tastes flowery and sickly sweet to me. Others get a similar taste from VG. I don't. VG is somewhat sweet to me, but without a real taste, and I prefer it to PG. Unless you vape only PG or only VG, you will not be able to tell which it is giving the unpleasant lingering taste. While my opinion is only based on my own taste perception, it sounds like PG to me, but I also would do the experiment to make sure...and have.
