Our cat does fine with our house dog (german shepherd) axl, he always watches her and acts like he's gonna stalk and kill her but it's been seven years and he has yet to actually do anything. Kitty learned the hard way to head for the hills when one of the working dogs is in the house. They actually would likely kill her. She knows the difference. She plays qutie well with our little house dog.

Raising dogs is only different than raising children in that dogs give back!! Ok, mabye that was a little mean, but really, they are way more greatful and appreciative of everything!

My boss and his wife are taking our family out to dinner tonight. I'm HOPING one of my kids doesn't repeat something 'interesting' I have said about my boss in the past!

Good morning. Axl, good luck with the kids not saying something you don't want them to. My wife told me last night that after telling her that one of the guys at work was going to loan us a puppy gate to try that she asked her if it was one of the guys that I get mad at all the time. It's surprising what kids hear and remember that you don't think they do.

You know you're going to have to post pictures as she starts growing Hitt.

I had an early morning, thank you mother. She hit the alarm around 4:30 and said she was dizzy. I kind of figured it was just her morning thing, but went over. She even forgot she pushed the button by the time I got there. Her real problem was that my sister wasn't going over today. She has bunion issues and had her right foot operated on on Thursday. She's not able to drive for awhile and my mom looks forward to her Sat. visits. I explained it might be a couple weeks, hopefully not because I pick up every day duties until she's able to drive again.

I had a funny at poker today. I'm sitting talking to the only woman that plays before we got started and she was talking about her brother who is an artist. Somehow she mentioned her porn star niece. I just must have got a strange look on my face because she laughed at me and said I guess you didn't know we had an actress in the family.

Of course I had to pull out my smartphone and sure enough there was Beverly Lynne and she's been around for a while. She'll be 39 in Oct. and I think she does mostly soft porn but she's big enough for someone to put a wikipedia page out on her with a full list of her filmography. She even went to the same high school as me. LOL

You just never know. She was also an Eagles cheerleader some years back. I think she got more than her 15 minutes of fame.

I have a question. Hitt and I have been on ECF since Jul '09. He has 9,630 posts, I only have 3,581. What are my chances, now that Hitt has a puppy diversion, that I catch him before she stops chewing on furniture and valuable possessions before I catch up?

Roth, sorry about the troubles with mom. Nice story about the cheerleader.

I would say that you have a pretty decent chance of catching up with me. I used to hang out on a lot more threads. Now my two homes are here and the emerald city. I pop in once in a while on other ones.

Good morning. We did name the puppy. Her name is Rogue. I suggested it last week but my wife said she wasn't letting me name her after an X-Men character. The kids ended up siding with me. I've been an X-Men fan of the comics for a long time. I'll have to write this down as the one time I've ever won anything.
