I almost forgot to mention this. Last night my youngest daughter had her fifth grade graduation and it was also a D.A.R.E. graduation. It makes me a little sick to hear some of the information that they feed our kids. I understand that the best scenario is for them to never pick up a cigarette or chew tobacco but one of the kids that read his essay out loud made the statement that nicotine is addictive( I agree) and also that nicotine is dangerous to your health and went on to tell of all the possible ailments that can be caused by nicotine rather than saying smoking. One also mentioned the old fiberglass in the chewing tobacco thing. I hope that my kids never smoke or chew or anything but you would think that the people teaching them could do a little bit better job of researching and explaining that it's not only the nicotine but all of the other chemicals added to keep us buying cigarettes that do a lot of the harm when combusted. Ok, I'll step off my soap box now. I don't vape or make my snus usage obvious to the kids in hopes that the less exposure they have the better chance of them never starting. My oldest is getting about to the age where I should probably have a talk with her about why she should never smoke.

It's easier to scare them into behaving than to be honest with them and do the work necessary to ensure that they stay on the right track while making their own decisions and facing the results.

Thinking about hitting the rack for a while. I have to be on the road at 05:00.

Good morning. Gutter I'm sorry you're dealing with the same thing. When it happens nothing works for me. Have you been having sleep problems too? Gotta get ready for work. See ya later.

yeah - been doing the "sleep for 90 minutes, wake up for an hour"thing for about a week and a half now. It makes you kind of crazy feeling after a few days. The last few days,i've used any excuse to ride my bike and just stay up untill i can't see straight anymore and then try to pass out.I don't know how you do it with static work hours - i would be out of my mind.

i'm working on an old super reverb and looking forward to the wife's day off tomorrow.

Gutter, 60 miles on a lawn mower? Doesn't sound like fun. When I was young I remember seeing a guy all the time on the way to my Grandparent's house driving his lawn mower down the side of the road. It turn's out he lost his liscense to drive a car, so he took his lawn mower everywhere.

hahahahahaha. we've got a couple of dudes here in town that do that - seems like most of them are riding hoverround scooters instead of mowers now though.
i should have said : " i have to put the mower in the back of the jeep and drive the jeep 60 miles to the shop".
hahaha. my mower won't run for more than 2 minutes, much less run for 60 miles.
on the upside - the issues aren't related to my maintenance schedule so they think toro is gonna cover it.

It really sucks. It definitely affects productivity. I was having a hard time falling asleep some and then was waking up once or twice a night for no appparent reason. As far as the static work hours, I've never known anything else so I guess I just do the best I can.

Our newer appliances act like that too, Hitt. Sucks. The older generation of appliances seemed to last about forever!

I had a very rough weekend. Hj was very sick yesterday. No idea why. Spent all day sticking a thermometer up his .... and ended up taking him in for an after hours vet visit. Nothing concusive but I THINK it was a reaction to the lymes vaccine he had on Monday. Not doing THAT vaccine again!!

Axl, our old set lasted fifteen years. I don't see this set lasting eight the way things are going and we paid almost four times the amount for these. The next set will be very basic with mechanical timers. No more printed circuit boards. The one in the washer was replaced on the last break down.

Good morning. Roth I wouldn't get in any hurry to replace them if you don't have to. I know I probably sound like an old fart but this new stuff doesn't hold up like the old ones did. Not only the electronics but mechanically also. Too much stuff is made of plastic.

It's back to the grind today. I have Friday scheduled off so I'm looking forward to a four day weekend. It will be the first vacation day I've taken this year.
