Afternoon all. All's well that ends well and it seems some ugly Monday muck is in the past....'cept maybe OTD's sweat lodge monitoring.
Been doing vehicle service all day, sliced my hand open in a nice gap that would do well with stitches. The Super-glue seems to be set well enough to get started on another one, but I needed a forum fix first.
On the bright side, tomorrow is Tuesday and a step closer to another weekend. "Ruby Tuesday".....then tomorrow night we can all synchronize-sing "Tuesday's Gone". If we sound like Lynard Skynard we'll take Wednesday off

Wow TV! I hope you're ok. I know how those work injuries are. I put a grinding wheel into a knuckle once when I was preping a weld test coupon that I needed to bend. I got it done but just had a little pit stop by the doctor's office for some stitches. Try not to bleed too much. Hang in there. Oh, I just remembered you are at home, not at work.
Grinders are my nemesis. I have so many scars from hand grinders I'm a poster child for OSHA. And the steel cup brushes are the worst, the way they ravage the tissue and leave that nice alert feeling of a fresh floor burn 10 inches thick. I have a nasty one that had the potential to end fatherhood 2 twisters back. I was kneeling down with a rusty motorcycle gas tank pinned between my legs while I worked the last of the rusty scale around the mounting clevis. The brush jammed in the clevis and drove itself off the end of the tank and right up my leg to greet the twins. Left so much shredded skin in it's wake I couldn't walk right for a week. Yes sir, this hand'll heal just fine .

A guy at work with approached me today and asked if I still used snus. I told him I did and he said he saw something on tv about it last night. He is a 20 year dip user. He kept kind of looking at me expectantly so I said, "would you like to try some?" He nodded and grinned. We walked out to my car where I handed him a tre ankare (all I had with me today). He popped it into his mouth and proceeded to start chomping on it. I said "NOOOO, guy at work, you are not supposed to chew it! Put it under your top lip!" He gave me a strange look and put it in his lower lip where he normally keeps his dip or chew or whatever. Then he told me it was salty. (well ya, if you throw it in and start mauling it!) He went back inside to work, i did notice that he kept it in his mouth. I'm going to bring a general wintergreen or minimint for him tomorrow.
So my old snusing coworker showed up and I had my mints but he gets none of those he gots a probe extra large and he triped to upper lip it and turned into mudslide on him.

That one gives me the willies just thinking about it. I have a few battle scars of my own but I won't get into that right now. I am enjoying the evening while the kids play outside. I placed an order friday with getsnus but still have not gotten a shipping confirmation. They must be over run with orders right now. No hurry. It was just a stocking order. I got some 25g tins with my mrsnuff order today. I didn't realize how big they would be. I so far have tried the ozona raspberry. It is pretty good. It has a nice menthol kick with the raspberry undertone. I don't usually pick up scents that well so for me the raspberry could be a little stronger but over all it is good.

How many ways to say OUCH and not turn the air around ya blue? Super glue is a must have in the tool box for just such events!
Bright spot of the day came around 10:30 this morning. Couple of more urgent projects needed to be started ASAP and I left those "sweat lodges" in the capable hands of my co-worker. hehe, so sorry! Should be several weeks before I need to deal with that nastiness again!

I just placed another pre pact order for snus, 24 cans of the general Mints for Sherry, and 10 more cans of Grov Black for me plus various Los cans and a prismaster. I'm looking forward to trying los for the first time. All told, between Northerner andGetsnus, I think I have about 60-65 cans on the way. By the end of next week, I'll need a lot more freezer space...

You guys can have the los. I have about a year and a half left in braces so the los is not even a consideration for me until after that. Good morning. It sounds like you are doing a little better Allco. OTD thanks for the recommendations on the snuffs. I got my order late yesterday and am working on trying them. So far I have tried the ozona raspberry and st. clements and like both.
