Guess what arrived? The holiday threw me off, and the mail came yesterday and didn't get picked up... remembered about 6pm soooooo... my GetSnus order is here!!

Have in my very first white portion (General dry mini mint). Burned a little, but settled in fine...

I'm thinking that initial burn is the mint. I get that in the other *snuses that uses mint for flavoring. I tried the General Mini Mint for the first time myself on Saturday. Will probably end being too sweet for me to re-order but I was surprised that the flavor lasted a full hour without turning bitter!

...I usually switch sides with every snus as to not overuse any one area.

...Not quite as mild as Ettan, another pure tobacco snus, but an all day every day snus for me...

My snus get a lot of play as well. I usually move a portion several times, if for no other reason then, I can. Try that with a pris!

Stubby, did you see my mention of the F&L Granit a ways back? Struck me as similar to how you describe the Grovsnus. I detected little to no bergamot in the Granite, just rich tobacco. If you haven't tried it yet ya should.

The bergamot wasn't a winner for me and it appears it's pretty popular in a lot of the various flavors. I'll be keeping an eye on you .

From all I've read TV bergamot oil is one of the "traditional" flavorings for Swedish snus. I like it well enough for the flavor but I think it works better in Earl Gray tea. It's good to be finding out the *snuses that don't have it as a dominant flavor! I too will add Grovsnus to the wish list!

This has been mentioned before, the plural of snus. I don't know what's "proper" but snuses seems right when I type it and say it. Snus as it's own plural feels kinda stilted and sneese would just give TV one more thing to go on about

Got a three way shipping race going on between clubsnus, getsnus, and swedish-snus. I'm guessing SS will be the slowest (coming from Sweden apparently) - they wanted almost $30 to ship via UPS.

You being in Texas it will be interesting who gets to ya first. getsnus in PA or clubsnus from CA. My money is on clubsnus!

I looked at swedish-snus early on, never ordered from them as I thought the product prices and ship costs were on the high side. Went with Northerner instead. Of course I am finding that the snus pricing is fluid between all vendors and the given day.

If a pris is used anywhere else in the mouth, it tends to generate too much saliva. And spitting is ugly. For many reasons, I will not use loose tobacco in my mouth.

Portions can be placed almost anywhere. I prefer an offset lower right, but move it around from time to time. For dental health, it makes sense to avoid one place all the time (look for potential gum recession issues).

True the portion can be used upper or lower. I've been using them in the lower the past week due to dental work topside.

Placing a portion in the lower lip does result in more saliva production than when used in the upper lip. I'm finding this increase nice actually. Quicker satisfaction from the snus! This also doubles the locations it can be used in to avoid the possible irritations T Bob mentions.

Some WE Garrett Sweet now to spark things up a little.

Okay, how about snus for when its in the can, smoosh for when its in the mouth, and smooshes for when you throw it away.

OTD: haven't tried Granit as of yet. I have to many cans in the freezer (about 50) so I'm backing off any orders for a while, though I'm tempted to get some Off Road Coffee Vanilla before it's gone. I actually don't mind some bergamot, just can't do it all day. At the moment I've been using Skruf original white as it's on the mild side. I have half-a-roll which should last me a long time with the amount I do.

Another one to try is Oden's classic, another non-bergamot pure tobacco snus. They don't do it in a white so I don't use it as much as Ettan and Grovsnus.

He most likely he was HALF listening to me talking about what I'm getting and only hearing with the Charlie Brown Teacher ears (how I seem to sound to him: Bwah, bwah bawahhhh bwahhh). So... Smoosh is it!!

Some say they pick up a pickle flavor with Grovsnus and really don't like it.

Think I'll save the Grov for last, LOL!!
