V, you didn't step on my toes. I was just letting roth know that jojo's question was not ignored and that you answered it. Had you not, then I would have. I awoke this morning to the one of the worst cigarette cravings that I have had in some time. I took two pinches of macuba, chain vaped some 35mg menthol and still couldn't kill it. I did my best to ignore it until I left for work and just chain vaped in the car. It seems better now but I hope that's not an indication of how the day is going to be. I'm off to kill the beast with:

    T-bomb
    30mg tobacco menthol
    macuba

Yes, I somehow missed it. I think this daily heat is frying my brain. I was so looking forward to the summer after the miserable, snowy winter, then we get this. I like the windows open, yet I'm sitting in air waiting for the wave to break.

I just got home. My car broke down again and I had to have it towed again. This time it turns over but won't start. The fuel gauge won't read either. Argh! I'll be curious to find out if it was something botched from fridays repair.

    Away..
    Morning all,
hitt, good thing thats a company car. My daughter has a Honda Passport that has a bad fuel guage. Needle type. Normally after a repair its a plug not in all the way. If the onboard puter sees it "empty" it won't fire.
Her's, the sensor is in the fuel tank on the pump unit I think. Anyway, it's $680 to have it replaced and they fail so bad they wont guarentee it. So, we filled it, know the mpg, gave that # some room and use the trip meter. When she refills it it should have a 1/4 tank in it. That allows for winter idling on warm ups.:thumb:

I didn't mind the StoneWall Regular. Java & Wintergreen are better. My wife and daughter hate the odor though(regular). The Thunder test series #1 isn't that good. A little flavoring fixes that.;)

hitt, the sand isn't a problem. My son in law is the plant manager of the 3 largest concrete plants in our area. His uncle owns them.....lol
They wind is possible, the smell is possible, the water, waves & view I'm still considering.

Hey gang. Looks like y'all have been busy around here. Sorry to hear about your car, hitt. That's a drag, even when someone else does end up paying the bill in the end. I've basically finished up my work here in St. Louis, but can't leave until Friday morning, because that's when we're "officially" finished. Gotta love it.

I've had a few stares and alot of questions about the PV. Handed out a few cards my vendor sends with their merch. Good to at least get people thinking, I guess. Hopefully I can sneak away early one day this week and do the brewery tour at Budwiser. Don't like their product, but I think seeing the plant would be fun.

    Away..
    Hi Allco,
Being stuck isn't that bad. Been there. Always something to get into. Try their free samples.....lol

We have the 3 sharks in alcohol removing the tissue water for the final prep.
It won't stop raining enough to do any grass. Yard looks like a jungle. Good thing I own a new yard sweeper now!
I need to take a ride out back and check on the baccy plants. They were looking good before I left. I have a chainsaw to fix too. The bad winter broke so many trees that the heavy rains are bringing them down the creek and making dams. They make good free firewood for just the removal. I had one walnut large limb hit by lightning thats down. Its getting trimmed and into the barn. To pretty a wood to burn or waste. Makes nice handles for pistols, knives, stocks for guns and maybe a walnut PV! Winter projects...

Hi folks. I got the call from the garage about my car. The computer module has failed and has to be replaced. It will be down for a day or two while they get the part. It's gonna be another $800 plus the tow bill last night. Of course my boss said had we known in advance that we would have traded it in on a new one but have to take our lumps now. It looks like I'll be driving the company pickup that we use for quick deliveries for a day or two. It's a piece of junk but better than walking. My boss is aware that my vehicle is overdue to be traded but with the economy the way that it is, we have been trying to keep them longer to save money. I don't have a problem with that as long as they keep paying to fix it. It would be nice to get a little comp time for the time I have spent messing with it though. Oh well, I would never ask. I know better.

Hey V. I wish I had that kind of skill. I'm not sure I could tell the difference between walnut and well water. Good with my hands = not so much. Afraid I'd be more likely to slice off a finger than make something usable.

Hitt, that's probably the same answer I'd get if I asked my boss for comp time. Good guy, but he has a tendency to think *all* time is his. Glad that you at least got to the root of the problem.

Well they said it should be ready either tomorrow afternoon or friday morning. I drove the company pickup home tonight. What a beater. It's an F250 that's been wrecked three or four times and will never be right again. It looks like someone stood on the inside of the tailgate with a jackhammer. If it had been one of the sales guys, they would have gotten a rental but the service manager gets the hooptie. Hopefully they'll have mine ready tomorrow and I'll just have to drive it once more.

Good morning. It was an interesting ride in this morning. I forgot the pickup doesn't have cup holders and sat my coffee cup on the seat and took off forgetting to put it between my legs. Coffee spilled on the seat and almost got on my pv. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for mine to get finished today.

    Hey all!
I get to take the day off of work tomorrow to go train with the crazy German. I hope my dog is up to it!
My boss has apparently lost his mind. 3 weeks ago he talked to me about cutting my hours...fine, I said I'd be willing to not come in fridays, but since it is a long drive I didn't want to come in and work a little less each day. He seemed ok with that. Then today he went off on a tirade about how we are getting things done that need to be done but not extra stuff so maybe we need to not always do what needs to be done... HUH?? So starting next week he wants more done. Ok, fine, but what happened to cutting hours? I opted to nod and smile rather than ask him if his head was up his .... He's generally a great guy to work for but lately he's been doing odd things and driving me a little bit nuts.
    Anyway,

Maybe his boss is riding his .... about something. It sounds like a typical boss move to me. Do what I mean not what I say. Mine was driving me nuts today so I went to the vacation calendar and put down for a vacation the first week of august. He sometimes seems unappreciative of what I do for our company so I will let him see how things go with me gone for a week and no one there to fix his stupid computer problems he has all of the time. He acts like it's part of my job when it's not. I am not an IT person. I run the service dept. and do mechanical, electrical, and electronics work. So Axl does that mean you get a long weekend or is what you are doing tomorrow more like work?

It is a small business and my boss owns it. It is pretty much me, the boss's 30 year old son, and a tiny girl from laos that do all of the work. There used to be 8 employees but over the last few years he has whittled it down to bare bones staff. I am grateful to be one of the 'survivors' (been working there over 10 years now). You are EXACTLY right 'do what I mean, not what I say', and also, 'read my mind', and 'be sure to correct my mistakes so I don't look like an idiot'. I do all that but like you, sometimes I feel a bit unappreciated. I love your vacation plan! You'll have to let us know how that works.
Actually, I planned the weekend well. I'm taking tomorrow off to train, (it is a 3 day training but I'm just not that obsessively committed) and then I have ALL saturday and sunday to hang out at the pool with my kids.
We spent last weekend in Wisconsin Dells. It was a GREAT time but I feel like I haven't had time to recoup.

Thunder 1 or 4 (who cares, they all taste like crap!)
    Guiness
Listening to Eminem 'Recovery' (since I don't vape or snuff I decided to add that category)

Axl, you obviously didn't get the translation, let me help you out. What is being requested is that you do as much or more in four days that you did in five, but save the company money. It's the American way.

I am so glad I retired when I did because this was getting to be more and more the case eight years ago and it's probably worse now. I feel your pain.

Not sure what's under my lip, but liking it
I usually put five different snus portions times two in a can
so sometimes they get cross tasting and this one is really nice.
