I wouldn't mind trying that stubby but I can't justify putting an order in when there isn't anything else that I need. I would consider it if the shipping was still $5 like it used to be.

I'm glad I have some left over as I won't be ordering any this year. Not just the shipping charges for me as the WI taxes are crazy. Among if not the highest in the US. Perhaps next year we should start thinking about getting a co-op snus buying club together.

5$ shipping..... those were the good old days

Evenin' all :). I had to step outside for some fresh air after all the exercise porn from W, GM and hit. I'm glad nobody witnessed that, my reputation could be ruined if somebody caught me glancing at the "e" word literature.

Geez... scheduled delivery date of 26-October-2010 on my first internet snus order placed yesterday... shipping from PA... that's not real fast :(

I really, really, really don't like doing business with Northerner/getsnus. My order from Sweden (SnusCentral) came in 3 days. And forget about Northerner Sweden, that takes a full 2 weeks. Geeze VM, I hope they get the order right or you'll have to twist some nipples to work it out. Been there.

I use to love the straight tobacco flavors, but I've been struggling through a can of Ettan for the last three weeks. I've got a freezer full of 01, 02, Ettan, and Grov that I don't know if I'll ever get through.

Straight 'baccy is my favorite, but I'd still get burned out on it if I didn't alternate. I don't normally do 2 in a row, I use a 'baccy, then the next up will be a T-Bomb or Frosted, then back to 'baccy. So far it's worked great. Then again, there are those who seem to find me odd.

Perhaps next year we should start thinking about getting a co-op snus buying club together.

Stubby, your posts are taking on a radical edge :p.

Allco do you know other ones that you like or are you on a search for new flavors? Sounds like you are headed for a rough time with all of those tobacco flavors if you don't have some others to mix it up with. The most of any one that I bought was two to three rolls. I think I have around eight or nine different ones of varying amounts in my stash. I recently got some more thunder berry and grov black when they were running the free shipping. I also got a couple cans of lab 02 to try for the first time.

Fortunately, I'm still loving my General Mint and Wintergreen and I have a pretty good stock of them. Most of the others are things I bought in half roll increments that I really liked at one point or another. I guess my tastes aren't changing as fast as they did at first, but they're definitely still changing.

ugh. that's not good. so you've been dealing with it for 3 weeks now? did it come on suddenly with you too? i love ettan and have been using it and grov since this happened and it doesn't seem to effected my taste for them and i'm hoping it stays that way.

It was more of a gradual thing for me. At one point I just happened to realize that I was using Mint and Wintergreen exclusively for two weeks. When I switched it up with some Ettan, it was just sort of "meh."

I've been trying one or two straight portions a day. It's not that they taste bad so much as I don't seem to get much flavor from them at all. Maybe I've overloaded myself on mint and wintergreen flavors. Like everything else since I've quite smoking, I fully expect my tastes to reverse course again at some point.

My sense of smell doesn't seemed to have changed like my taste-buds. After boppin' around with Camel, Marlboro, then General snus I got some Thunder Frosted Mini's and Lab 02 and thought I was set for life. Stubby says " hey, you need to try some other ones 'cause a man can't live on one snus alone"....or something like that. Though I still bow down to the GOD OF THUNDER...(lightning strikes....screams of horror and ecstasy....fade to black....), I do believe I'd go nuts without my small variety.

I never seem to get tired of the general mint. The only regular tobacco flavors that I like are the lab series. I have been snuffing like an addict lately. Not sure why but I'll just roll with it.

Cause that's what addicts do.....duh......

Congrats on putting in the miles axl. i'm sorry to hear about the foot though.are you giving yourself recovery days while you get back into things or are you running everyday?
i've started trying to listen to my body a bit more lately and not feel bad about taking a day off between runs to let things heal a little better and have found that i don't hurt or get hurt nearly as much now (but the days off are boooooring...)
my chiro has helped alot with my issues too though. if my lower back or hips get out of whack, it wreaks all kinds of havoc on my feet and shins.

I got in an extra 3 miles or so last week for a total of 12 (divided up into 4 days).took sunday off and ran another 3.5 last night and will hopefully get in 3 more days of at least 2.5 this week. well , in between all the slacking i plan to do in victor's honor :)

as for right now, i'm enjoying the rain coming down outside with some grov portion and h20

I've been trying to run every week day. If I take a day off, it turns into another...and another, and pretty soon it's been 24 days and I have to start all over again! Tonight instead of pounding out a relaxed 3 miles I did a 'fast' mile. I think that was harder on me than the 3 miles!
I have a chiro that I use as needed too. I have found that I only get shin splints when I run in my Asics running shoes. I do fine when I use my Nikes. I think it is because Nikes have more of a lift at the heel. No idea why that matters to my body but I guess it does!
Sorry TV...ummm, I was MOSTLY lazy today ;)
My friend asked me to take care of her neurotic boxer for a week in Nov while she is off getting married. UGH. I couldn't really say no, but the dog is weird!

No sign yet of the Merry Christmas snus on the Northerner site - it will likely appear among the purified portions. But hey it isn't even November yet! Let alone December...

i could see taking a day off easily turning into multiple days off.makes sense.
that interesting that asics cause shin splints for you, they have really helped mine but i still feel like i need a bit more arch support.what kind of nikes are you running in?

sitting on the deck with the wife enjoying the weather. we just finished grilling and eating and she's gonna try running with me tonight.

I used to get a lot of foot pain after running. The chiropractor helped with that. I did two miles Monday along with some weights and did a combination mile of walking and running yesterday at a three percent incline along with a little more weights. I'm kinda sore so I skipped today. I better stop talking about exercise before TV catches me. Did I say exercise, I meant extreme slacking. Good night folks.

24mg something mixed that I forgot the name of

I guess you and Axil inspired me. After poker, I road my scoot home, then I ran to the bathroom. It was either your inspiration or the wind chilled mid 40s weather. I did make good time though. :p

    Somewhere between here and there
I sense a tiny bit of sarcasm there roth. I mowed tonight instead of exercising. I have had two different pairs of the nike reax run shoes that I use only for running and they have treated me pretty well. The only complaint that I have is that there could be a tiny bit more padding in the front for the front pad of your foot. So anyway, no exercise for me today. Aren't you proud TV?

Ok W, GM and hit (and a nod to roth for a quick response to not pee pee on his scoot), I'm caving to peer pressure. Tomorrow:
    (1) When I get out of bed I vow to lift at least 1 foot off the floor on my journey to the recliner.
    (2) I vow to rise from said recliner no less than 3 minutes earlier than usual and mumble "good morning" to anyone in a 5 foot vicinity.
    (3) I vow to clean up my usual coffee spillage with a paper towel instead of the sock on my left foot.
    (4) I vow to pick up and stow in another corner a pile of tools I left on the kitchen floor after the last project.
    (5) I vow to temper my anger when my 10 year old son stands staring into the fridge for the 16th time in 10 minutes to see if anything new showed up.
    (6) I vow to consider looking into why Momma's car has no heat when it's cold outside.
    (7) I vow to stare at the laundry room wall and contemplate how nice a shelf for soap would be, as well as agree with Momma how important it is.
    (8) I vow to lower the toilet seat for the whole day.
    (9) I vow to volunteer one of the lil twisters to do the dishes.
    (10) I vow to not start anything I can't finish.

Boy, I'm pooped thinking about it. I might have to shorten it a bit......oh well, no pain, no gain.

Oh no... I thought we had seen the last of the God of Thunder thing. Oh well.... as long as the breathing doesn't get to heavy.

Donno 'bout all the exercise stuff. I used to run a bit... but then my knees hurt.... my foot hurt.... my back hurt.... didn't know what to do. I stopped running and everything got much better. It still goes down in the files of medicine as one of the true miracles of the 20th century (it was a few years ago). I've never made that mistake again. I know how to take a hint.

also - i got in 2.5 miles tonight ( the wife did 30 minutes of 60/90 intervals with 5 minute ea warmup/cooldown).put in a maintenance snus order and i'm sitting here watching old episodes of psych on the roku with some ettan los and hot chocolate.
this is my fist time using los and i have to say i thought it would be harder to bake.using loose dip in the past may have helped things some but,so far i'm diggin all the ettan i've tried.
