Cool. I started playing drums at 10, then took up guitar at 13. Our school yearbooks had senior predictions and mine was "The worlds greatest heavymetal lead guitarist". I never actually made it that far, but I was able to record 2 albums worth of originals with my band (Black Diamond) in a guys basement 16 track studio. Over the years I just got to be more of a successful drunk than anything else, though. I still have the cherry Les Paul Custom I bought new in 1980; the sunburst '69 Strat I got off a former bandmate; a pre '82 Jackson/Charvel (San Dimas I think); and a Fender acoustic/electric. Gone are the '62 Flying V and the '70 SG (desperate days of old). Also, throughout the years I've managed to hold onto my '69 Fender Dual Showman with 15" JBL's and a Crate chorus head adorning 2 MTX Pro 215's. Not to mention a bevy of old, dysfunctional Gibson and Fender practice amps along with some Bogen and Marshall to round things out. I've always been a sucker for Gibson solid bodies, but my oldest son is nose-deep in Epiphone and Fender. I honestly have to say I sold myself short back in the day by not buying Epi's. I know they're now owned by Gibson, but as far as I know Epiphone is run as a sovereign company. Good stuff.

that's awesome victor.one of these days i'd love to see pics of your les paul and strat. i have a real soft spot for a good gibson and fender tweeds.
if you ever get ready to off that dysfunctional stuff - let me know. components for old tube amps are drying up every day and it's always a good thing if i can get parts to keep another old amp going for another couple of years
i've got a bunch of guitars and amps but my main squeeze lately has been a tv yellow 56 les paul junior and a 57 pro :
rocknroll just pours out of that speaker when you hook that guitar up to it
nothing exciting going on this way today. sitting on the deck with :
