Ya, I think I am allergic to exercise, possilby work too! ;)

The health and safety section has alot of nasty posters. Seems to cause a lot of drama when someone thinks they have side effects to vaping. I don't think everyone can tolerate vaping and that is fine, but boy do some get angry!

Do you use the earbug headphones or regular big ones?

Spent all evening so far cleaning my kids' rooms and taking pictures of each clean section. Then I print out a pic of the clean section and stick it to the wall nearby. Then when I tell them to clean their rooms they have a picture reference to use. I've done it in the past and seems to work better than me repeating "not clean enough" 20 times a night.

That's really a good idea Axl. Especially if it works. The headphones I got are the ones that hang over your ear with the speaker attached. I've been thru two sets of Sony ones in a year so I thought I would try a little better ones. They are made by Sennheiser and say adidas on them. The sound quality is great and you can shape them to your ear. Hopefully they hold up. It says there is a two year warranty on them so I'm gonna save the box and receipt.

I see alot of 'older' people with braces. My boss's wife had really cool looking gold ones. I didn't wear my retainer when my braces came off so now I have some crowding on my bottom teeth. Not sure why they feel the need to do that. It's been a very gradual shift over the last 20 years so I don't figure I'll actually live long enough for them to get too bad.

ps. How come people in other areas of the forum are so dang nasty to eachother?? Geez.

My stepmother got braces when she was in her 40s, so it doesn't sound all that unusual to me, hitt. I had 'em when I was a kid and sure wish I'd have had the discipline at the time to use my retainer regularly. I've had some "creeping" since then, but nothing nearly like what I started with. Hopefully they're settled in now. I remember the rubber bands very well, too. Definitely an aggravation at the time, but worth it in the end.

And thanks for the reminder about why I don't venture out much, Axl. It's a zoo out there in the general population. ;)

You can bet I'm going to do everything they tell me. I'm paying for the whole thing myself.

Every time I go out there I end up in a pissing match with someone. It's much nicer here but if no ones posting and I get bored then sometimes I browse but usually don't post.

There is a thread about shortness of breath that I started last January, I think. There are alot of people on there having that trouble. I want to scream "SWEDISH SNUS!!" at them but I'd probably be ignored. vaping just doesn't seem to agree with everyone and I don't think people being mean to the people having problems is helpful. I'm really happy for those of you that can enjoy vaping, it was great while I could do it and I'd still be doing it if I could.

I was in my freezer playing with my snus today. Boy did I order alot of Claq qui. I think I have 28 cans of it still. I'll have to break the seal on that bag and dig a few out. Hopefully I still like it! I really want to order some of that merry christmas snus even tho it is low mg. I see it is still not available to the US. Maybe it never will be?

Pretty proud of myself- I ran 4 miles for the first time since my little er visit in early sept. Yeah!! If my knee is not bothering me, I don't find 4 miles any harder than 3. Weirdest thing, I've been SUFFERING from terrible allergies since my run last night so I wasn't sure how tonight would go. Once I started running I felt fine, no coughing or sneezing or stuffy head feeling at all. It's been 2 hours since my run and I'm still fine. What the heck? I'm glad to feel better but I wonder why I do that. I was really careful after my run tonight to NOT get chilled. I showered right away and dried my hair completely just in case my stuff is something to do with me getting chilled after a run.

Hey hitt, is that OR cranberry any good? Is it a sweetish taste or sort of like thunder berry or what? Does it last longer than their other flavors?

Working out... hmmm... errr... yup, that's on my todo list  A four mile run is fantastic, kudos!

I've got some Sennheiser headphones too (PX100). Listenting to radioparadise.com with them right now. The ear bud things bother me. The PX100's are light small portable on ear headphones, very comfy and sound great, you can read about them here... Koss Portapro and Sennheiser PX100 - PX200 Headphone Review and Comparison . I don't use them while on the go, if i did maybe i'd look into the ear bud things more closely or the around the neck style (instead of the over the head arrangement).

Hey gang. I was in the freezer last night myself and finally had to unseal a roll of Mint that I got in before PACT. Vacuum packing and freezing seemed to have no ill effects. As far as I can tell, this stuff might actually last forever under those conditions. Is it bad that I'm starting to worry what I'll do with my snus stockpile if I move and it has to be out of the freezer for more than a few minutes?

I'm playing hooky this morning so I can take a sick pup to the vet. My bulldog won't stop licking his paw and has gotten it raw. Since he's not putting much weight on it and won't let me touch it, I can only assume it's sore. I've been having some issues with his wrinkles lately too, so I'm afraid it might be the dreaded allergies. Poor guy can't get a break with medical issues lately.

On another note, I had a Wintergreen portion in this morning and almost got knocked over by that sickening, mouth watering, "I'm about to blow chunks" feeling. Don't know if it was too much nic too early or something completely unrelated, but it sure wasn't the way I planned to start the day!

Good morning. Axl, congrats on the four miles. That's double of what I did last night but I am fairly content with my run as long as my foot and leg don't start hurting. The OR cranberry is more in line with the thunder berry. To me it seems to have quite a bit more salt. I remember a long time ago that a few people here didn't care for it at all. I do like it but not as much as when I first started using it. I wish they made the thunder berry in a 8 or 12mg since I like the flavor of it but don't do the es portions all day. Here's a link to the headphones that I got for running. I tried them last night and they sound great and stay on my ears very well. Sennheiser - Adidas Ear-Clip Headphones - Adidas OMX680

Morning all, Well I did my half mile walk between my house and the next door neighbor's with leaf blower in hand, then walked back and forth blowing out his leaves, does that count as exercise? He moved in two or three months ago and works that ungodly night shift where you end up sleeping during the day. I hadn't met him until Sunday when he happened to be home and outside when I got home. He mentioned that he was going to have to find someone to handle the leaves (we live in the woods) so I figured that I don't bake cakes and I just bought a new blower so I may as well make use of it.

Thank god it's election day, I don't think I could take much more of the negative politimercials. You have to wonder if it's worth voting for anyone since, based on the politimercials, they all are rotten SOBs. Still deciding whether to get out and vote will lipping

Roth that sure sounds like it would count as exercise to me.

Thanks Hitt, My sentiments completely. Now I probably won't get credit for today. Wrote my zero turn over, plus blower, plus gas. Did walk some to work around his trees and around house, but a lot more sitting than walking. More like a Nascar sport today.

Got a lot done though, cleaned up my leaves and his, at least as far as they've fallen. I felt good though because he was home when I went over and really appreciated my effort. He's got a bad back from moving in which I noticed on Sunday when I met him. Of course he felt obliged, but I told him to forget it, I was having fun with my new blower and my two year old zero turn. It's amazing how the right tools make a job so much easier.

Evenin' all and happy deletion day :). Feeling compelled to exercise, I arrived at the voting center at 0600 and, hopefully, exorcised some demons right outta Congress. Yes W, demons do exist. I could even hear 'em scream when they went into the abyss.

Tried to watch scary movies last night. My hubby picked. NOT scary. We watched "paranormal activity" and "trick r treat". Paranormal activity would have been good except I really don't believe in demons. Ghosts interest me more. Trick r treat was just plain ......ed in my opinion. Are there any truly scary movies that don't involve cruelty to animals or children? Oh, and that aren't slasher films?

My vote still goes to the 50's flick Tarantula. It really sealed the fate of any hapless spiders I've come across ever since 8-o.
That's an interesting analogy of your Ma and clan, W. My mom is a classic Marie, too. Maybe we're kin didn't know it.

Not a bad idea. Sorta like the before and after pictures they show on Hoarders. If my kids' rooms ever get cleaned up I'll have to do that......

Sennheiser and Koss used to be the best. They still make good stuff, but the last 2 decades they've prostituted themselves to mass-merchandisers and make a lot of run-o-mill junk, too. I'd still recommend either, but shop carefully. The name doesn't guarantee the quality anymore :(.

Oh hitt, no need for that pirate get-up this year. Now that I'm up all night with this funky shift arrangement I have access to the loot while the crew's asleep :2cool:.

Hello TV. I was wondering when you would stop in again. Well I don't know a lot about headphones but the ones I got this time sound twice as good as the Sony ones I had before and seem better made. I'll just have to see how they hold up.

Yesterday was a 0645 to 2145 toxic clean-up day and TV wasn't in a playful mood, especially 'cause it was s'posed to be a day off. Messy.

I've found some higher end Sony's with really quality sound, but still really poor construction. The best midland priced headphones I ever had were a $150 pair of Pioneer back in the mid-80's. Sound reproduction is very good and held up to a lot of abuse. I think I actually still have 'em somewhere.

Busy watching election results. Might give me an edge when civil war breaks out. Don't know yet......

I remember that. Both of my daughters took dance lessons for a few years. The oldest wants to go back for tap and jazz again. That'll be one more payment to make. I went and voted after work. It wasn't near as busy as I would have expected. Maybe alot of people voted earlier. Did my part to try to knock a few of them out of office.

OH NO!! TV, if we are kin we'll have to cancel that date when you turn 93!

Boy I hope not, W. It'd sure take the sail wind outta this 93 year old rascal. I'm scouring all the public records to make sure nothing's fishy about Mom's denial :glare:.

I kinda view it as a soap opera. One minute the bad guy looks down for the count, the next minute he's up and swinging again. There do appear to be a lot of firings, though :).

My younger daughter just turned 13 and she's best described as a ninja ballerina. She still loves to dress pretty and loves it when I call her "Princess" right up to the time she walks out the door carrying an airsoft gun to bag her older brother and his friends......

New York Judge rules 6-year-old can be sued | Reuters

    A tragic accident

The ruling by King's County Supreme Court Justice Paul Wooten stems from an incident in April 2009 when Juliet Breitman and Jacob Kohn, both aged four, struck an 87-year-old pedestrian, Claire Menagh, with their training bikes.

Menagh underwent surgery for a fractured hip and died three months later.

    Turns criminal

"For infants above the age of 4, there is no bright-line rule," Wooten wrote, adding that the girl had been three months shy of turning 5.

Wooten also disagreed with the lawyer's assertion that Juliet Breitman should not be held responsible because her mother was supervising the children at the time.

"A parent's presence alone does not give a reasonable child carte blanche to engage in risky behavior such as running across a street," Wooten wrote. He added that "the term 'supervising' is too vague to hold meaning here."

Obviously, rambunctious 4 year olds are a menace to society and should be locked away or put down. A civilized society can't tolerate such behavior. They knew what they were doing and probably only used the training wheels as terrorist devices anyway...and a ban on training wheels is way past due. I'm so glad we have judges like this to protect us. We can only hope this wise juror sees fit to lock up the defense attorney for contempt before he aggravates a jury with a nonsense defense that might make the culprits appear to be nothing more than aged toddlers trying to learn how to ride a bike. Now excuse me while I slam my head on the desk for a while longer in frustrated rage........
