From the East coast we now travel to the Left coast and see what the folks who write laws have on their plate. Hmmm, looks like they've found an effect way to remove "happy" from the meals of those vicious toddlers. Maybe that's the answer.

SAN FRANCISCO — For some veggies-hating children, Happy Meals won't be so happy anymore.
City lawmakers on Tuesday approved legislation that they hope will force fast-food chains such as McDonald's to make their children's meals healthier or stop selling them with toys.
The Board of Supervisors voted 8-3 to preliminarily approve an ordinance that would limit toy giveaways in children's meals that have excessive calories, sodium and fat. It also requires servings of fruits or vegetables with each meal.
Now, I know I've only had 7 kids, but I've yet to see one eat more then 6 of the 12 fries or more than 3 bites of the 1/8 oz. burger. If this goes through, I see a hard way of life for the dumpster divers. Who'll feed the homeless of San Fran now?
Supervisors and activists who support the measure said they hoped efforts like this would make San Francisco the first major city to take this action to curb childhood obesity, perhaps starting a trend that would spread to other cities, states and the country.
Of course, it's for the children. What a good idea. It fixes lazy parents and for parents who are traveling or want to reward their tots, satisfaction of knowing that the wino's no longer have to suffer the embarrassment of dumpster gut. I personally think they should go a step further and consider a law that requires all mothers to be forced to make homemade mashed taters at gunpoint every night. That'll be even more caring, I say.
McDonald's has said the law threatens business and restricts parents' ability to make choices for their children.
Absolutely, it's the Amerikan way. Who knows more about raising children than a group of politicians?
This message brought to you by the makers of government subsidized abortion, where parents don't have the right to know about that little medical procedure performed on their 13 year old daughter across the state line.

. Until then I foresee a 5000% chocolate tax to keep things afloat. Maybe tofu chocolate won't be too bad, though.
