Axl, I'm glad today went better for you.

Anyone else see the new general snus. It's called green something. I forget the name right now. I also found a snus site called snusline that boasts free shipping. Only problem is they have very limited inventory.

    Hitt ,
I saw that general - that's the organic one , right??

I got nothing interesting , I worked on old bassmans all day and it was overcast and rainy. It's supposed to get up to almost 70 tomorrow and I'm hoping to get back on the bike as much as possible.
For now , the wife and I are both beat and plan on being asleep before too long.

Morning. Hitt, I got some interesting news from Carl's blog comments. I noticed he mentioned in the blog that any SM reps in Philly should contact him. I found it interesting, but not as interesting as the rest of the blog and forgot about it. Then in the comments, he responded to the first comment and mine and mentioned that he didn't know about the rest of the country, but General would be "on the shelves of WAWA and 7-11 right next to Camel".

That pointed home since I know WAWA is a Philly area (soon coming to a corner near you) convenience store chain. Not to get too far off point, but this is the convenience store the entire country needs. They are a gold mine. Gas/great coffee/good food service/everyone's convenience store. The lots are packed all day.

Anyway, I commented again directly to Carl and he got back and apparently he's no longer in Canada but the Philly area and stated that perhaps next month we'll be seeing General in the area. That will certainly be an interesting experiment. I'm guessing they're hitting PA since it's one of the best states, tax wise, to offer the product. With no smokeless tax, they should be very competitive with Camel. I just hope the Nordic Mint is at least somewhat comparable to Mint.

Good morning roth. You are up and around early today. Are you working today? That's interesting about SM at those two stores. I'm not even sure if I know where a 7-11 is around here. QT is the biggest one around here. Maybe all of this will open the door for some of the regular swedish snus to become more available in the US.

WoW, Hitt, I thought 7-11 was national, but I could be wrong. I do know they're on the downside. Almost all today are, gosh political correctness, Indian owned (not bows and arrows) and not keeping up with the competition (WAWA). Just to see General in "mainstream convenience" in these parts would be amazing, even if it was Americanized.

Hey Gutter, that site is awesome, your playing is awesome! Guess who joined instantaneously? I even downloaded PDAnet so I could tether to my smartphone and not chew up my SAT daily limit. I'll bet there's a lot of interesting stuff on there.

Thanks for setting that up and sharing. You have a fan.

I almost forgot two important bits of news in my excitement over Gutter's music page. Has anyone downloaded the Robotic Guitar from the Android marketplace. It's really cool for a non-musician, just haven't figured out how to make it sound like anything but aborigines' music. Curious to see if someone that knows what they're doing can make it sound like anything.

Second, I picked up, now don't laugh, a decent treadmill at the thrift store. They had what looked like an almost new Nordic track treadmill, one of those 2-3K jobs for $350, but I opted for a less expensive machine for less than half that. You guys just got me in the mood to do some cardio. We'll see how my moment of weakness works out. LOL

Good morning. Well, not really but I'll explain that in a bit. Gutter, I wanted to check out that music page but the kids were on the computer about all night doing homework. I wasn't sure how it would work on the phone.

Roth, I think that's great you picked up a treadmill. I use mine three or four times a week. I just do it for however long I feel like it depending on my mood and energy level. I figure anything done is better than no exercise.

I got a call this morning from my sister in Ohio. She got a call from the assisted living place where my mom lives and they said that her oxygen level was really low and they were getting ready to transport her to the hospital. She has what I am assuming is severe COPD. She was in there about a month ago for the same reason. I found out recently that before we decided to send her to the assisted living home that she was up to about three packs of cigarettes a day. I had no idea. I knew that she had always smoked but never saw her smoke anywhere near that. Anyway, the nurse kind of scared my sister by telling her that my mom's lungs were in bad shape and that the hospital visits would likely be more and more often. I haven't lived near my family since I was 18 and had no idea that her smoking had escalated so much. When she started living at the "home", she had to quit. There was no choice. They just don't allow it. I can hardly imagine what kind of hell that was for her. At this point we don't really know much else except that they are going to try to get her oxygen levels back up to a safe point.

Hitt, I hope you're Mom get's better. Is she on Oxygen full time?

I'm thinking about joining Sherry's gym. Anytime fitness. I will be doing the bikes though, not a treadmill. My feet can't handle that much walking.

My Aunt died last night. She has been battling lung and breast cancer for a few years, and was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor and diabete's.

Sorry to hear about your mom Hitt, sounds like a tough road from here on out. Hopefully it will go well for her. Other than the time my mother severely burned herself defrosting the refrig, the only visits she had to the hospital were for me and my sister and her fall last year. That has been quite a blessing, but an al,ost 93 year old woman living on her own has its share of challenges.

I just got up about an hour ago after staying up most of the night, me and my sleep patterns. We're supposed to be getting rain but no sign so far.

Thanks for the kind words guys. My sister called me back a little bit ago and said they have her on a cpap machine and are giving her antibiotics. They have decided to go ahead and admit her. My sister works the evening shift so she's going to try to get up to the hospital in the morning after she gets the kids off to school. It's times like this that I wish I was closer to home so I could help out more.
