I am new to this forum and first off got to say thanks to all of you for all this information, its a ton of info, overwhelming actually. I will be spending quite a bit of time here looks like!
Here is some background on my vaping experiences:
I am a smoker, well I am trying to quit, been ~3 weeks and only had 1 cigarette when i couldn't get my tank of my mod and well you know what happens...lol!
I actually tried a vaporizer in the early 90s but it was some macgyver thing which involved a soldering iron and a small goldfish bowl...wasn't for ejuice...enough said. But it was cool and I thought back then, this is much safer then combustion.
Fast forward to 2012 I got a Atmos x6 Pen with a Kanger ProTank 2, not sure if it was real or a clone but I saw a vendor at a car show selling them and it was a done deal.
While it was nice for awhile it didnt get me off the cigs. I got bad juice after bad juice and it just sat for awhile.
Most recently I saw a friend had an coolfire 4 and was kicking some big clouds and had some really tasty juice in there. So I decided to give it another try and got a Smoktech Xcube II with a TFV4 tank.
This thing was so cool, but big and a steep learning curve, a friend borrowed it and somehow managed to drop it and damage it...He ended up paying me for it and I was mod less and back on the stinkys.
Found a shop in NJ, and got an Evic VT kit, and I have been loving it in Temp Control....eventually got a Crown tank and liked it even more...now I have 3 crown tanks with different juices for quick swapping and less cleaning.
And I am off the cigs! But am also into this deep as I also got a Evic VTC mini, and some RDAs and its fun, I like this, I feel better, smell better and just feel good for getting off cigs. I am eyeing another xcube setup but am gonna wait a bit, famous last words!
