They're one of the rare cigalike companies that sell cigalikes for a fair price and fill them with some really great, American made juice. They also don't glue down hard plastic tops to their cartos like many other companies, and let people refill them with whatever juice they want. They're batteries are decent for what they are as well. Other companies sell the same batteries for over $20, which is ridiculous. In fact, I know of one that sells them for $50!

I have been reading some of the threads and I see a lot of people liking halo. May I know why? They sell normal ecigs (which they colour and call G6) and ego batteries (which again they coloure and call Triton).

Largely because they are American made and their products perform better than the cheap generic Chinese ones do.

For instance, my 650 mAh Halo Triton battery lasts longer on a charge than my 900 mAh eGo battery does despite my Halo being older and used more frequently. In fact, for the eGo form factor I much prefer Halo batteries over generic eGos by a wide margin.

And a lot of people love Halo Juices.

I think that a large part of the popularity with Halo is that they offer good gear for a "mainstream" hardware and ejuice company. While it is true that there is nothing extraordinary in terms of the batteries/clearos/etc. that they sell, they do theior homework and match equipment that works particularly well together.

This makes Halo attractive to new/newer vapers that may not really understand the nuances of matching batteries/tanks etc. Keep in mind that Halo is not aimed at vapers looking for mods and more esoteric gear...more for folks who just want to vape and not get immersed in the details of vaping.

BTW Completely Average, Halo does not manufacture anything...the batteries, clearos, chargers, cartomizers et al come from China...but they do spec out to quality manufacturers such as Kanger. I am in no way saying that their gear is of poor quality, but no, they do not manufacture it, they purchase from China and put their logo on it, as with most ecig companies.

I started with a halo starter kit, 5+ months now and my original batts and tanks are still working great.
I have had very few problems with my halo gear and juices
Plus they give you points for free stuff, there CS is excellent, and they are active on the forums, constantly giving away free stuff
They are a good american company

I think alot of people like halo for the simplicity, one website you can get everything you need, it is easy to navigate, there juice is good and the hardware is pretty reliable.
In my 5+ months I have had 1 coil fail, and 1 tip break.

Newbie here :) Halo's equipment uses less common 808 treading which makes it more exclusive to mixing parts from other equipment manufacturers. I was going to get a Halo starter kit but didn't want to be locked into buying only from them because I like experimenting. IMO prices are double. I am very curious about the flavor of their juices. May have to splurge for a taste someday :)

I always have their sub zero on me.
If you ever need to clear your respiratory system out, just do a lung hit or two and it'll set ya straight..

SubZero is my all-time favorite. Some menthol juices taste like medicine, SZ is smooth ...

But if you want the "44 Magnum" of menthol juices, try Arctic Wolf from VaporGod ... :D

That's not a spearmint type of menthol is it?
I had Halo's "Kringle's curse" sent to me for free like 5 times when they first released it as a promo, when i made orders there and i can't do spearmint.
For some reason"spearmint type of menthol" give me a stomach ache..

Is the "Arctic Wolf" more like a sub zero on steroids?
If so,I'm headin there next:D

I think a lot of folks start with Halo for their e-cigs, but most move on fairly soon. Their juice is probably the biggest draw. It is pretty good, although a little on the expensive side. I have also found better juice as time has gone on.

This. I started vaping with a Triton (which I still have & think they're excellent) and their juices are awesome, however the juices are truthfully what makes them stand out. They are pricier as compared to most other online offerings today and I hope they adjust their pricing soon accordingly.
