What's wrong with my Aerotank?

Let me start by saying that I have not been vaping very long. I have purchased a Vamo 5 and the Kanger Aerotank. I am also vaping the itaste V3 with the iclear 16. My problem is with the Aerotank. My juices taste terrible in it. I am getting a strange metallic taste and almost no juice taste. I have changed the head and also taken the tank apart and let it soak in water for several hours. No change. In the iclear 16, the juices taste like they should. I have also steeped all of my juices.

I have also had a lot of trouble with the Aerotank flooding, gurgling, etc. I have read a lot of threads on here and everyone seems to really like the Aerotank, so I must be doing something wrong. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Can't help you with the taste issue you are having if you feel you've sufficiently cleaned the tank.

Gurgling/leaking is most likely caused by too much vacuum in the tank. To reduce vacuum open up the air flow control a bit until it stops. If you open too far beyond that point you will loose too much vacuum which will result in a lack of juice to the coil and burnt/dry hits.

I clean mine using hot water most of the time. I use baking soda and vinegar to clean my bridgeless attys.

I would think the only possible contaminant would be some oil from the factory, oil is best cleaned with an alcohol based fluid like vodka but not an absolute need. Hot water has always worked for me in the past.

My Aerotank flood like crazy too. I am 4 weeks new to Vaping but have zero issues with other PT2, mini, Iclear 30 B. I rebuilt coils, swapped out o rings, tried other stock coils. No love for me.

My only solution was tossing the Aero tank aside and putting the adjustable air valve on my PT2. Works awesome, I am going to buy more air control valves for more PT2s. I see many are doing the same with the valves because they are out of stock every place you look.
