Neither am I, lol. I use the cart as a precautionary measure. I always keep my filler saturated and in the atty, but rely on dripping. I think it's how I managed to keep my attys alive for roughly 4 months now.:)

I really don't get dripping. Isn't it such as hassle? Don't you need to drip again after just a few drags? What don't you like about carts?

I bring:

2 510 batteries - one in use and one charging basically all day long
2 510 attys - one menthol, one fruit of the day with filled carts attached - I put the current battery on whichever flavor I want at the moment
3ml bottle menthol juice
3ml bottle fruit juice
510 USB charger - have usb power in the car and at work

For emergencies, I also carry:

2 401 batteries
1 401 atty
1 401 cart
401 usb charger

Also carry:

one toothpick, two straightened paperclips and a tweezer

One 501 set up is on an eyeglass cord around my neck for easy access and all the rest fits in a hardshell eyeglass case from the dollar store (the dollar got both the case and the neck cord as a set).

Works for me.

What I bring to work:

- Prodigy V1 w/ 801 standard - 901 if I'm feeling frisky
- 3ml bottle of liquid and a backup 15ml alternate flavor
- 2nd set of charged batteries on charger

That will last me throughout the days. Sometimes I change the batteries at lunch just because for some reason I feel like I have to have a full charge.

I've found I don't really like vaping in the car like I loved to smoke in the car... weird.

Also Steve... the PG allergy just went away? Wild. Sounds like a fun work environment too... to bad I'm not in Nashville or you would have had to deal with me pushing my resume across the desk at you.

No, I don't think it is...but then again, it depends on the atty that you are using.

From my RN4081...I can get 10 good drags from it, maybe more but once the gurgling stops...I re-drip.

From my 510....I can get 10-12 good drags from it, maybe more, but once the gurgling stops...I re-drip

From my 901....I can get 10-15 good drags from it...again, if the gurgling stops....I re-drip.

I use a mod, I can flood my atty without fear of getting it in any switching mechanism. This also allows me to put far more liquid in my atty than those who try to drip with a non-manual or non-closed connector.

I've used this rule of thumb to incorporate using my cart for precautionary measures, so that I never actually dry vape.

Dripping keeps the flavor intense since it's freshly refilled. When you rely on cart fill, you'll notice that flavor depletes, although you still get vapor.

Plus I don't care to deal with pre-filling, carrying syringes, paperclips, or toothpicks and extra carts. If I were a woman with a purse. Probably wouldn't mind. I used to carry a zipper case.....I hated that. Hated having to open it up in front of people, it really looked like I was a diabetic with tools and meds to keep my insulin levels in check.

It's not really that big of a hassle. In that respect, e-cigarettes are a hassle entirely compared to traditional cigarettes.

My routine:

Get up in the morning, stumble around making coffee. Pull my PCC off its USB port, take the battery out of it, go outside and stare at the plants while vaping. Harass the cat until I'm somewhat awake.

Go in, get ready for work, pull my spare battery off the wall charger, and fill a one dram bottle up with Cuban Cigar e-liquid -- that seems to have become my "brand" at this point. Stick the PCC in my bag, the bottle in my pocket, and head for the bus. This setup lasts me all day at work, and generally most of the night if I happen to head out with friends afterwards.

If I'm just sitting around at home, I like to mess around with trying out zero-nic DIY liquids on my 901 or my M401s. I don't take either of those models out of the house though; too much fiddling required.

The 510 is a lifesaver -- I think I would have given up on e-cigs without that kit. Going to bed is pretty much the same thing in reverse: put batteries and PCC on their respective chargers, blow out atomizers as required, and hit the hay. I have it down to pretty minimal fuss these days.

I use the Fog Log at home, and on the way to work. leave it in the car. In work, I use a regular 901, all day, rotating between 3 batts on the USB charger, and have an extra atty and a 30mil bottle in the drawer.
I leave work, and use the Fog Log on the way home, and when I get home, i'm still foggin the Log. If I go out, I usually bring the 901.

Oh, and I switch the battery on the fog log on monday night and Friday morning... :) much love for 3000mAh power!

I use the 510 with USB at work - I'm at the computer all day. I keep a supply of juice, flavors, bottles, etc. at work.

At home I use the 510 with a manual battery most of the time. When I'm working outside i use the Mini Cig because I can keep it in my pocket and not burn up the battery (510 with manual does not work out in shorts pocket).

Between home and work (45 minute drive) I use the 510, but keep the mini handy just in case the battery goes out.

Daily setup =

1 901 setup left from the night before. This is usually a fresh off the charger batt and topped off cart left for the AM routine. This lasts almost to noon.

I carry one 901 batt and one 401 set up ready to go in my carry case. I'm good for 8-10 hrs.

I have the 510 on the way now so this will change soon. Planning will be adjusted based on 510 battery life.

Edit: I forgot that I always carry 3X 3.5ml juice where ever I go.

Since I have PTs at home and at work, I only carry a few items around with me - BUT when I'm away with family or friends I take:

(2) M401s
(2) Health E-cigs
(2) 510s

Several small bottles of juice

Cigarette lighter chargers for M401 and Health

And now that I have my Kensington I will also take (2) PTs with me for M401 and 510 to use while driving :)

Just curious how others get their fix during the day...

I've only got the 510 at the moment - I've got parts on the way for a boxmod, but they're not here yet.

Work: 1 complete 510, my 3 spare batteries and an extra atomizer. 2 sample bottles of juice, an unbent paperclip for adjusting filling and a couple spare carts. I have a charger at work, so I rotate the batts during my shift. I carry it all (except the complete 510) in a small zip case that came with my Etymotic earphones.

Home is pretty much the same, except that I vape MUCH more. While I can usually get through a 12 hour shift on 2 batteries, it's not unusual for me to finish killing the 2nd battery from work AND a complete 3rd one in the couple hours between getting home and going to sleep.

Here's what my typical day's routine is like:

Wake up, yawn, and stretch in bed. Sit on side of bed and yawn. Stand up and stretch again. Walk to fridge and get Diet Coke (for caffeine), wander into the living room. Find Prodigy on couch loaded with whatever I left in it the night before.

Check kit - currently 5 charged 801 auto-batts, 1 manual 801 batt, 7 attys, and one syringe preloaded with whatever I left in the night before in a CaseLogic 6 USB zipper case. Pull spare Prodigy batteries out of charger and put in pocket. Put Prodigy in shirt pocket.

Open the door, puff on Prodigy, and wander down the hill to my office. Boot up PC and work and puff until lunch. Wander over to house and eat lunch.

Work until there's nothing else to do, catch up on industry news, check CNN. Eventually wander over to house to eat supper.

Then tinker in the office or tinker around the car, check the peppers and tomatoes, and then head up the hill.

See what's on SyFy (dumb new name IMHO), grab a brewsky or three, and get ready to do it all over again tomorrow.

Each night I plug in my 510 manual battery on one charger.
Then I plug in my 306a automatic battery on the other charger.
Then I blow out my 510 and 306 atomizers and do a dry burn on both.
Then I rinse them out with water and set them down to drain overnight.
Then I fill up a 3ml dropper bottle with juice mix for the next day.
Then I wash out an old cartridge or grab a new blank one and fill it up too.

Total time: 10 minutes

The next morning I unplug my batteries from the charger.
Then I put my 306a atomizer on my 510 manual battery.
Then I put about four drops on my 306a atomizer.
Then I have my morning smoke.

Total time: Negligible

Before I leave the house I pack everything up in my custom made kit.

I use the 510 manual battery interchangeably with the 306a and 510 atomizers during the day.
The 306a is for dripping and the 510 cartridge is for using a cartridge and topping off when needed.
The 306 automatic battery is only in case I use up my 510 battery.

Once per week I give the atomizers a Coke Zero bath overnight.

Of course, I only vape around 6 times each day.
So it is a lot easier for me than most.
Your mileage will vary.
:)
