I just picked up the Rage, so far I really like it.
I also noticed Reverant and vaporesso came out with this one.

Currently, one of my dotsquonks goes with me everywhere --- however, I expect that to change in 10 - 20 days or so, depending on how the shipping Gods and Goddesses favor me. (an SQ is now making its way towards Heathrow for a short hop across the Atlantic and into the miasma of rotating postal strikes here in Canada)

Good question, but can’t narrow it to a single best one. My favorites by category:

Mechanical - Kennedy Squirter. Simple, easy to maintain, love the short throw button, can use a 21700.

Unregulated - Dovpo Armour. Very compact for a dual battery mod

Single battery regulated - Vandy Vape Pulse (80 or X). Lightweight, lots of features, love the bottle, OK performance in TC

Dual battery regulated - Dovpo Basium. Odd size that remains comfortable; great bottle system, VV mode.

TC single battery – Hcigar VTInbox. Nothing special in terms of looks or build quality, but can’t beat a DNA board for TC

Most desired that I don’t have yet – DNA 250C squonker. Hurry up Lost Vape and get the new Drone out!

If I were to base my answer on shear numbers owned and length of service it would have to be the mech Reo squonk mods IAMA I have 35 of them and used them far more often than not for around 3.5 years. But now days only 1-2 of the 5 Reo P67's get used rarely.

Regulated 21700 squonk gear is my go to gear now. Out of all of them the 3 Dovpo Topsides are on top followed by 3 Pico Squeeze 2's. My preferred squonk atty's on them are the 5 Digiflavor Mesh Pro RDA's I have (looking to add more of them to my kit).

You sound like a good candidate for this question then: how well do topsides work for long term use?

My three Topsides were bought 10/10, 10/12 & 10/28. So the only 'long term' I can attest to is that I have vaped all three of them day and night since I got them in hand - so for up to 1 month. As far as using them 24/7, they are a joy to use around home. And since I have a VapeSox that makes for easy carry when out and about I have also enjoyed using up to two of them when on my wee hours of the night errands. For those who still have to work for a living... with 10ml's of joose on board, a second included 10ml bottle/sled for 10ml's more or a different flavor as backup, and enough battery they can hold their own for a long time. How long depends on your vaping style. Tootle puffers probably for days, lung hitters like me who uses a lot of joose not near as long with just one of them (why I have 3 :)).

So the quality level is good? No leaking or excessive wear?

can't say favorite, still looking for that
I have a vmod xl and a kangertech dripbox/dripmod (seems they can't decide on the name, on the device it says dripmod, on the packaging it says dripbox)

oh and I tried the aurora bft atty when it came out....nice idea, bad design...

wanting to get a tc squonker, I'm not much into mechs

2 of my all time faves are 2 of my first high end squonkers. Custom classic mech and Limelight Freehand S mosfet.

More recent faves are my hellfire venom x mech and cobra mosfet. Hellfire just makes solid gear with a cool industrial look.

I've also become a huge fan of Stratum mods. Just ordered my third squonk mech from them and am enjoying their 303 mosfet squonker as well. I love their bottle system and firing mechanism, small size and rounded shape. Great performers all around.

I have to throw a mention to my big apple mods dna squonkers as well. I don't use regulated mods much but when I do experimental builds I have them ready for tweaking wattages. They have kept me from even looking at other high end regulated mods, though limelight is releasing a new Freehand regulated mod as well. If anything could tempt me to buy another regulated mod it would be a limelight.

Favorite is the Rage but it’s big and heavy so for out & about I like the Squeeze 2. I would like a DNA 250C like the Drone (when released) or recently looking at the Rebel dual 21700 DNA 250C squonker. Haven’t decided if I want to spend that much money on a mod but if I do then whichever I chose would be my favorite.
