Copperhead- You explained my feelings to a T. Exactly!!!! I'm not putting any time limit on getting off of the nicotene, will let my body dictate that. Don't want to do anything that throws me back to analogs.
I hope to be done with e-cigs by the end of the year. I'm not pressed about it, but I still would like to not be dependent on anything. Giving up analogs was a breeze so I'm thankful for the product. Unfortunately even though it would seem that it is 100% healthier than analogs noone knows for sure. So for me I plan on lowering nic, then passing my stuff on to another smoker. I'm at 18mg now down from 24 or higher.
I've been vaping for two weeks, but today is the first day without an analog. I'm using 24mg juice and plan on cutting that in half by the end of the year.
Thanks to those who replied Im the type of person that wants to know how the movie ends before it even starts Granted I must have dozed off during the trailers when I first took up smoking analogs..
As I said..I couldnt be happier about quitting analogs But as I sat here the other day surrounded by my pile of vaping paraphernalia I had one of those OMG what have I done moments This all happened so fast(quitting analogs) that I havent had time to think this all out Sure I dont need the analogs anymore and my new habit has to be a heck of lot more healthy than my old one .But now my perceived panic(real or not) about wheres the red box.... has been replaced by wheres the juice bottle.
Sorry for the ramblings I hope Im not giving the impression to new would-be vapors that doing any of this would be a mistake Far from it Ill be the first to recommend vaping to any analog smoker even if they plan it to be a life-long substitute I was just curious if others thought about what they intend .or dont intend to do .down the road
PS If the Mods think this discussion doesnt belong here please feel free to move/delete it I still havent explored all the sections on this forum Maybe theres a better place for it
I'm new to vaping, but my main intention is to give up smoking altogether. To this end I hope to gradually decrease the nicotine lvls. in my liquid until I am down to 0mg.
After that it will be time to combat the "physical" habit itself. This has always been my downfall in the past, although I dislike the taste/ smell of tobacco the "ritual" of rolling/ smoking a cigarette is one that I find remarkably hard to give up.
Couldn't say why exactly, perhaps I'm just weird
