Up to this point I've spent $300 less than I would have on cigarettes, so $1700+ in 8 months. I am fine with that, I think I have pretty much all the mods and associated vaping equipment needed for the long-haul. My vice is juices, I like them a lot and like trying lots of new ones. The past 4 months I went from unlimited to $125 a month down to $75 a month the past two months.
Now I'm going down to $50 because I have the core juice vendors I like (ECBlend, HHV, Vapor Chef, Indigo), and then will sprinkle in other vendors month to month which will actually be a fun challenge. I figure I'll use the steals and deals thread and find a new vendor I haven't tried with a discount, and resupply from my core vendor joints as needed. I also have a really good local B&M, so I'll have to plan visits there according to my budget.
I like the Innokin products as far as mods. I have two MVPs and a VV3 now, and I also have a Vision Spinner and several Joyetech batteries. I have tons of toppers and am rebuilding some of those, and have like 20 iclear 16s and 30s also. I'll need to periodically load up on different stuff but the juice is pretty much my focus now. If I couldn't only stay out of the NET thread...if only...then maybe I might actually succeed at $50 a month.
My #1 reason for quitting was saving $$$, so that is going to be a motivator for me. However, if I think my vaping experience will be bolstered by a mod purchase or a rebuildable, then I won't hesitate going over. I figure making an extra purchase on my anniversary of a big ticket item (e.g. a Reo, Mini Provari, etc) is acceptable, so that may help me stay on budget also. Whatever works for people though, enjoying the hobby and not going back to the analogs is the end game regardless of what you spend.
