Wheezing and tightness

One of the reasons I started vaping was due to my asthma, and a bleak prognosis from my pulmonologist. I have noticed that when I vape (especially when I vape too much) that my asthma flares up like crazy. However, if I stop vaping for just a day or so, I notice that it goes away very quickly. I am thinking I may have an allergy, or maybe the ejuice I have is of low quality. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have been having the same reaction off and on. I have been blaming my allergies because it seems random and the oak trees are shedding like crazy right now. I suspect that any inhalant will be irritating to the bronchial tissues when I'm like this. Usually I just ease up on the vaping for an hour or so and it's better...

Yep!! Steamy,Does Smoking give you wheezing and tightness? After 43 years of Smoking stinkyretts, it was a matter of me being able to breath to live, and today almost a year later vaping was the tool that I used to help me live!! I was just wondering if in fact you felt better when smoking ciggys as opposed to the E-cig.

Its not that I feel better in the long term, because with e-cig the wheezing and tightness goes away after a day of not using it so much. With real cigarettes, it builds up and makes me worse over time, and it doesn't go away quickly. Its just more acute and instantaneous with the ecig...

I don't have asthma and I still get a tightness in my chest when I vape too much also. I know that for many people here chain vaping isn't a bother, but I find that I have to moderate my vaping to the equivalent of a regular cigarette and wait about half an hour in between. Personally I think I just react to the intense dryness experienced from vaping.

If you don't feel like moderating your intake as much I would follow what Corpo said and switch to VG, as people are less likely to react to it.
