yeah- I would LOVE to get one- but the price is very expensive, but hey you get what you pay for right? I wish the adapter for higher volt is included- 6v is where its at

It depends on how you look at it. A base model Silver Bullet, AdapteveR and Prodigy run around $100. The base model Super-T is $119. I think $19 extra is well worth it for the hand-made attention to detail and quality.

You got that right Chef!!! With seams as tight as the pictures in the give away contest, I can see that the quality here is superb. Like I told David a while back, If I could get my mechanics to put this kind of quality into the work they do on our airplanes on a daily basis, the need for rework would be eliminated!
Now....If I could just get him to let me order one.......

Indeed you do get what you pay for:) I posted some of these thoughts over on the other forum but they apply here too:

The amount of machine work that goes into each Super T can be up to 20 hours depending on options. All components are machined by me from solid core stock and involves mutiple machining steps between a mill and a lathe. I also machine my own switch which adds extra time and I also machine my own center posts and threads opposed to pre made press in adapters.

Note: I edited out some of this and my other post as they were truly irrelevent and petty in the bigger scheme of things...

After I got good with the 901 and 510, I couldn't wait to shop for one of the Mods, not just because they didn't look like cigarettes, but because in the very long run, they're less expensive to maintain.

I gave a very hard look at all of them, and came so close to getting one or two of the others before the Super-T. But to my eyes none could quite compete in the quality department. I liked the looks of them all, sort of, but the quality rang out in the Super-T. I know a slight bit about machining, only because it was done on parts of my Steel Guitar, so I knew the pride machiners take in their work.

I consider what I paid for my Super-T to be just right, maybe even a bargain, considering the personal attention that goes into each one, and the close attention to detail. I'm really looking forward to receiving it, and do think its sure worth waiting for. (Have you ever noticed how daily anticipation can be half the fun!)

I'll post a review here (not video of course :) and let you know what I think of its looks, its vapor output (I love vapor output), and its ease of use.

When you consider that every single piece of the Super-T (minus springs, washers, and a screw - which are available on the cheap), you begin to understand the complexity of making such a device. It takes a skilled craftsman to produce every thread, every groove and every visual detail. That does not take into account the huge investment in development and design time needed to create a PV with such tight tolerences that virtually negate any battery wiggle, a button motion that is straight toward the atomizers and adapters that precisely fit your atomizer. Unlike another 100% mechanical device, the Super-T has not had stripped threads some have seen on devices at twice the cost (I did no say GG).

If folks want the high voltage experience, they can score a Chuck or a Copper for fairly cheap. Even cheaper is doing a DIY device. I went that route and got tired of replacing failed buttons, having e-liquid leak into the battery chamber and living with the fact I was sucking off a flashlight.

If you want to score a high-quality device that is expected to outlive us all and works everytime, the Super-T should be on your short list. Sure, it may look as though you are vaping off a device meant to pleasure the 'weaker sex', but this thing just plain works well. PM me if you have questions.

David,

All that you put into making the Super T is the main reason that I want one so badly and why I continue to stalk your forum "patiently waiting" for the special announcement so that I can order the limited edition 801 adjustable draw Super T1. I know that it will be well worth the wait.

Signed,
Patiently Waiting

Of course, I am mindful that I won't get mine before true gets his. :)
