The mail lady is being kept busy with deliveries to our house. Hubby is definitely hooked on the PV's, Flavors and making our own juices. We have more 510 mega batts and atty's due to arrive tomorrow or Saturday. And today he ordered an ego kit for himself ... lol. At this rate we might accidently break even in about 6 months or so ...

I was just funnin' with ya. Actually, since my CC # was stolen twice in two months from ordering stuff online (be careful about that and DON'T use a debit card) I've been using pre paid Visa cards and $50.00 a month seems to be working out fine so far. I used to spend $250.00 a month on those damn Benson & Hedges so I guess I'm saving money already. Actually quite a bit of money.

I haven't managed to start saving yet, but I'm hoping that I'm at the point in the curve where I will. I've stockpiled a couple of RiVas, an eGo, and a 510 with the passthrough. I've found the juice that I like for 80% of my day and have 60 mL of that, and have a drawer full of carts, cartomizers, the eight atties that go with my variety of sets and four more. So, if I sit on my hands, I theoretically can stop shopping a while. Sadly, though, I suspect that the same weakness that made me unable to quit smoking will make me unable to stop purchasing. Oh, well, at least I won't be wheezing my way into the poor house.

I have spent twice as much money in the last month as I would have. I am a little compulsive, so I keep buying stuff I don't really need. I got several batteries, pass through, drip tip, atomizers, cartomizers, blank carts, blue foam, wraps, and flavors, flavors, flavors. I tend to get flavors every time there is a sale. My taste buds are still trying to recover so I have no idea which ones I will like.

I know that this compulsion will end (I get this way with every new thing I try) and when I do I won't have to buy anything for months and months. Even if it takes a year to balance the money out, I am so happy to not be using analogs I don't even care.

Think about what you used to spend on cigs. The $250.00 I used to spend would pay for 6 boxes of cartos that's 1 a day @ $8.00 a piece is$48.00 (I don't use that many or pay that much usually). 90ml of juice, 3 ml a day would be about $60.00 (I mix my own. Much cheaper). A Riva battery is $20.00 (or less) and should last a year so let's say $1.70 for batteries, OK, $3.00 for 2. That comes to...
$48.00
$60.00
+$3.00
equals $111.00 a month (I'm not coming close to that) which leaves $139.00 of "cigarette money" left over each month.

i haven't even recieved my stuff in the mail yet and i've spent around $180 or so U.S. on a eGo starter kit, extra atomizors, extra fluid (man i hope i made good guesses on flavors), a carrying case, a 510 battery, a 510 carrying case, and extra carts. However i smoke about a carton a week and they are getting to be around $50 a carton in some stores down here...and the only thing I can see myself wanting further at the moment is a 510 usb passthrough since i spend alot of time on computers. they don't seem horribly expensive. so i figure i'm breaking even for a months worth of smoking. And I have no idea how long 4 30ml bottles of 24mg e-juice is going to last me yet. and thats on top of the samples that come with the eGo from the retailer i purchased from. (He might not have been the cheapest...but he defiantely wasn't the most expensive Joye retailer).

I don't mean to sound like I'm on a high horse....but thank god for these forums and youtube..i think i might make it out saving some $$$ after i figure out what flavors i enjoy.

I used to spend a little over $400 a month on premium brand cigarettes, so I could buy an eGo kit and a few sampler packs of juice every Monday, and throw them away every Sunday, and still be WAAAAAAYYY better off.

$6.35/pack x 2.5/day x 30 days = a hell of a lot of money.

See my banner? that is like from 70 days, although I do not have what I spent in there, but it is NOT over $300, and I have 5 different devices already.

PLUS I am sure the people with the hole in their throat, or cancer would pay ANY AMOUNT of money to make it go away.

Well I've done the math and if we don't buy anything else for the next month and a half, we'll break even and then go to the plus side in savings. We will have a good stock of batts, attys and since we are now have enough supplies to make our own juice for the next 6 months or more, we are in good shape. :toast:
