I am new to vaping anything other than the disposables. I just got a Provari with a Kanger Protank. I am coming down to the end of my first tank full of juice on the Kanger. I would like to try out anotheer variety of juice that I purchased. Is it required that I clean out the Kanger before I reload a different juice? If so how does one clean a Kanger? Do I just run it under water and dry it off. If so do I also rinse off the head? Thanks for any help with regard to this matter. Stu

I usually clean before flavor swapping.

They way I do this is to disassemble the unit back down to how it was separated in the box: Tank, base, and atomizer all separate. The next thing I do is remove the little plastic piece that sits just on top of the wicks it should rather easily slide up the shaft (I said shaft) and set it aside carefully. Then I just run the entire thing under hot water for a few.

I let mine dry over night on a paper towel before putting it back together (not forgetting that clear plastic bit that was sitting on the wicks) but if you really want to vape on it you can. Just know that the wetter the wick is with water the more its going to have to work out before the juice can penetrate. You can dry burn it a bit (this is firing the atomizer with no juice in the tank or detached from the tank) to speed this up, but it does not always get all the water.

This is just what I do, but I'm hardly an expert so you might get some better advice soon here. I do hope this helps.

What I do with my ProTank is rinse the tank out with hot water and tap it on a paper towel to let it dry. I do take the head off of the base and run it under hot water for a couple of minutes until the wick shows clean. Reassemble, reload, then vape off it a bit to burn off the water still in the wicks. The juices should start flowing into the wicks nicely after a few short moments of drawing on it and the flavor and vape will return. Good luck and vape on. (Oh, BTW, if you find the flavor on the ProTank to be muted, remove the top wick from the head and reassemble the head and it will vape like a champ.)

This is what I do minus vaping the water off the wicks, when I change flavors i swap heads completely, and throw the cleaned one into a cubby with other cleaned ones to use whenever. Thanks for the tip about pulling the top wick, I'll have to give that a go on a few of my tanks.
