I thought the same thing at one time. I now won't touch the liter of wizard labs nic I have in the freezer until long after the vapocolypse.
Put it this way. I vape 50mg/ml unflavored. I can vape it right after mixing with a quick shake when using vapers tek nic. I recently made a batch that was 6mg/ml short and substituted with 6mg/ml wizard labs nic. I had to flavor it and let it steep for a week after a few hours in the ultrasonic cleaner before I could vape it.
The nic is so clean I test the nic content 3 times to make sure I'm not fudging up royally. When I make juice for the family with vapers tek nic it's vapable immediately after mixing and a quick shake.
I also save money on flavors by using less than half of what I would with wizard labs nic for the same results. The nic pays for itself in flavoring alone.

I know I've posted this before, I don't remember if it was in this thread or not. I go through a fair amount of nic (6-8 ml of 15 mg juice per day). I'm 55 years old and might live another 30 years (if I'm lucky). Doing the math, 12 liters of 100 mg will last me the rest of my life. One cubic foot equals 28.3 liters. I don't need a freezer farm, just one little corner of a regular old 15 cubic foot chest freezer.

Get pg if your preferred ratio allows for it. If i recall correctly pg stores better over time. The real bonus is taking it out of the freezer and being able to pull it into a syringe pretty much immediately. VG gets THICK and needs to be warmed to work it.
Personally I have never used Wizard as I have heard too many stories of inconsistencies batch to batch...
I use Nude Nicotine now and am trying E-Liq.
Nude has been very consistent in quality batch to batch.
I have heard similar regarding E-Lig.

For myself,
I would recommend getting plugged into CASAA. They are informed of all the pending legislation and when the hammer could come down. They would know before it becomes common knowledge. At that point, I believe would be the time to pull the trigger on storing nicotine. That is basically why I started this thread. To raise awareness and who could give us the information we need to respond to whatever and whenever comes down from the Ivory Tower...
They, (CASAA) very much need local participation, I posted on the "North Texas Group" but did not get a response. The group must be disbanded.
For myself, I would very much like to see if I could start a Texas Militia Group, broken down into North, Central and South Texas respondents. These three groups would be responsible for responding to pending local legislation and reporting back to the forum and CASAA. I'm sure Julie would give us a hand.
There are several senior members contributing to this discussion to this thread. Can you guide me how I can get this started here on the forum?

I'd love to see something similar here in GA; I see more and more of my fellow Georgians here all the time, and even though so far, this state seems remarkably vape-friendly, it would be good to make sure it stays that way!!!

12 liters, eh? I'm close to your age, so I also figure I may have 30 yrs left -- now that I've quit smoking!
I vape at 2/3 the level you do (10mg)... so 10 liters should easily be a lifetime supply? That's still a lot; I only have a little more than a quarter-liter stored now, though I only started this summer. And if I did find out at some point that nic would become expensive or impossible to get, I'd probably make an effort to decrease my nic level, though I have no plans to stop it entirely.I feel the same way; the only reason I turn out to vote whenever possible is that if I don't vote, I don't feel I have a right to rant about the imbecilic gov't.

Okay I'll add my twoin here:
Glycerin with Nicotine in it has a virtually unlimited shelf life if kept frozen.
The above being said Nic base has been and will be about $50.00 per liter for 100mg/ml ...I don't see it falling much in price any time in the future.
There are some well looked over facts regarding vaping:
There will be NO regulation on hardware.
There will be NO regulations on vaping supplies that contain no regulated substances ( Nicotine ).
As I said in an other post any more than there are regulations on Coffee Makers!
At best the FDA would regulate who and how e-liquids are manufactured and tax the nicotine therein.
The above being said, how much do you vape?
If you are a DIY, buy as much as you want, eventually you will run out....(well unless you own a freezer farm)..LOL
It's not much different than saying what if there is a natural disaster and one cannot get fresh water or food supplies for "x" number of days or time.

As far as VG vs. PG... VG base is better because almost all e liquids are a combination of the two, and it is easier to thin out VG with PG than the other way around (IMHO).
For most 100mg/ml is a good concentration because you can dilute is a necessary.

Nicotine is the most regulated over taxed substance in the USA.
100mg/ml nic is not 100% 998 mg/ml is., but it willl kill you if you look at it wrong.
I'm just going to stuff some tobacco in a French press with some PG and extract my own...
Am I misreading you or are you missing the point. You can't make e-juice with tobacco alone you need to add taxed (crystal ball) nicotine.
I've researched nicotine extraction from tobacco; it isn't as easy as using a French Press, but isn't that difficult, either.
Not sure what you mean. I can get 5 lbs. of certified organic, unadulterated tobacco for $50.
It is all moot anyway. I like lab juice...
1001ng.mg is pure 100% nicotine, the loss of 3 is due to impurities, getting there is cost ineffective 998g is good enought but explains why some nicotine tatses different than others.

I've heard the same about nude nic. Had I not found vapers tek I'd be all over it. I have it on good faith (assumption) that Jimi D has tried nearly every nic on the market. He's the one that turned me on to vapers tek. You might consider PMing him or checking out the vapers tek thread posted by K3vin if it piques your interest in the least.
