Greetings fellow vaporers,

I searched so many different way to try to find a topic on this and I kinda got some answers but nothing very definitive and most of the answers were from a while ago so I figured I would reach out and see if I could get some opinions\advice on two items mainly surrounding dripping.

I finally just turned to dripping, I got tired of all the cart mods, possibly burning filler and I actually saw scorched filler on my cartomizers when trying to mod it.

When I am vaping after dripping, how will I know when it is either almost dry or dry? Will the vapor production really be minimal or will no vapor come out? I know a lot of people say the burnt taste and others say 10 puffs but I just wanted to find the best way and I was hoping that the vapor would just almost stop to signal to re-drip.

Last question, what is actually in the vapor\smoke when the atty is dry? I know it has a foul odor and taste but is it vapor or smoke? What is actually in it and is it dangerous, toxic:unsure:? It smells and tastes like it is but I am just a little paranoid as I want to ensure before re-dripping it is empty but don't want to have to inhale anything toxic.

Thanks everyone for any help\advice\feedback\input you can provide,

Happy vaping:D,

Happy vaping:D,

The only way to really know is just doing it yourself. Eventually, you get a feel for when you need to drip again. The vapor starts to go down and/or the vapor has a slight burnt taste.

I have no idea what's in the burnt-tasting vapor. Someone else want to chime in on that?

I have no scientific evidence whatsoever to support this conclusion, but I kinda feel like one component of dry/burning atty flavor is volatilized metal.

Be it metal, plastic, or something else, it definitely tastes toxic to me.

Thanks Steamin,

Great, I thought there were no toxicins in Ecigs.

I am still new to this but I have tried the Cart mods which I just can't seem to find one that works or that I don't have to refill often.

I tried cartomizers and after reading something about burning fillers, etc. I pulled out the insides of one and noticed a black burnt hole not in the filler but the wick on the inside of the filler. Then I tried that no filler drip mod but couldn't get it working.

Finally figured dripping was easiest but now with that dry burn stuff, who knows.

I would think those preliminary tests\trials that came out would have had something on that if it was toxic but seems the only thing they discuss is PG and nicotine.

No matter what method you use, you will eventually get some burnt taste, unless you've learned to sense when vapor is just beginning to drop off.

With carts and cartomizers, you more frequently get burnt filler and/or plastic in your vape. At least with dripping you have more control over it all.

Hey this is great information everyone and I was leaning towards that too regarding just leftover juice residue, etc. I mean if it is smoke or something toxic what could it be from since the only thing we put in there is juice when dripping? I understand about fillers, etc.

I know on new attys you have that taste due to it being new but wasn't quite sure.

Also so far I have taken about 20 or so puffs, not too long but maybe 5 seconds and still no vapor reduction or bad taste. I'll keep experimenting and posting any new information I find.
