It looks like people are forgetting that Cell Phones got smaller and smaller before they started growing in size again. Now people are using Tablets for phones and the Samsung S7 is no small device. I don't think having 4 cells is a bad thing because of the battery life of 4 cells for someone vaping at 10-12 watts would probably not need to charge for a week.

Hehe.... you guys are funny with your remarks on this new quad mod.
Actually, I am tempted, very tempted...... Not just for the 300+ W capacity but for the ability to vape all day long without to worry about the batteries to run out. I do have triple mod (3X LG HG2 3000mah) with a TFV4 on it @ 70W and it needs recharging before the end of day. And..... it is not even the single mod as I use 3 or even 4 in the daily rotation.
4X 3500mah batteries will total 14,000mah of vaping power.......

Question! If using the internal charging... is it balanced?
Second, are the batteries in series, 2X2 parallel or all parallel?

No idea about the charging. It does appear to be 2x2 by the pics and being able to run it on only 2.

Maybe they'll start having battery packs that can be worn as a backpack with cabling to a nice light mod.

I've got a couple of USB pass throughs around here somewhere. I bet I could rig something up like that. :thumb:

I suspect it would end up looking like this though:

I just wish someone would come up with an affordable 4.2 volt mod that runs on AC so I could plug it in my wall outlet and vape all day while home and not worry about batteries. Vaping at 80watts does go through batteries pretty quick, so not having to worry about charging and such would be great, and increasing the time between having to purchase new replacement batteries for worn out ones would be a nice benefit.

The dna200 board allows for a 12V fixed installation and has an option for 'power supply' mode in escribe that turns off the balance taps. I've not seen any commercial mods using that but it can be done.

There was also the itaste drv for cars that used the lighter socket to a cable but it was VV and limited to 20 watts, but could've been plugged into an AC-DC 12v power supply.

Wow, that's interesting!
Not sure I have the technical knowhow to take advantage of the DNA200 board capabilities and integrate it with a 12 volt power supply. Would be cool if knowledgeable modders got behind the idea.
Maybe powering the DN200 off of a dc converter would a the way to go...
Did a quick search but didn't turn up any that go up to 100watts, but I'm probably not looking at the right suppliers.
When I used to MTL at ~20 watts dual batteries would last me the whole day and then some, but now vaping DL at 80 watts a dual battery mod doesn't get me very far at all. Unfortunately for a vapor like me 20 watt max devices just don't meet my needs.
Thanks for posting the info though, had no idea the DNA 200 was so versatile.

In a pinch you could jump start a truck, incinerate a forrest or bash in an enraged rhino's brain pan with it.

I realize that you said this as a joke, but you really could jump start a truck with it. It has the voltage and amps required to jump start a vehicle.
