How are you all doing?

The problem I seem to be having is, I have an intellicig with prefilled carts which if I am honest I don't like. Which lead me to buy a Riva 510, which I really like. The intellicig has a really good vapor but no flavour and the Riva has good taste but not alot of vape, Is this something I am doing wrong on the filling of my Riva? I would like more vape if possible?

Any suggestions would be greatfully received...

Lack of vapor is most likely due to the type of juice being used. High VG = more vapor but less throat hit. High PG = less visable vapor but more TH. So if the juice is doing it for you I wouldn't worry about vapor production too much.
Also long easy draws produces more vapor. Sucking it like an ciggie will get you less. Good luck!

i had that problem with the smokestik ( did not do my research ) after 2 week of vaping i order the 510 t the best purchace i ever made great flavor and th ... are you using a pg or vg liquid?

I have PG juice. Maybe its the style in which I vape. The moment I get a TH I stop. It's a hard transition. I do find I try and smoke it rather than vape it, if you get my drift.

PG juice does not make a lot of vapor. Even 10% VG in the base will increase the vapor. I use 80PG/20VG

Cartomizers are also a big win and the most popular for 510 threading are Boge. I recommend you try the standard resistance first (around 3 ohms) while learning to sense when they need juice. Then if you want you could go to the hotter LR 2.0 ones (which also use battery charge faster)

Few people vape Riva with atomizer and cart.

How I fill Vapor4Life KR8 cartos and Boge 510 cartos

Pop out the soft cap with an unbent paperclip in the mouth hole, very careful not to catch stuffing or the wire loop.
Shake and open the eliquid
Hold a bit of tissue on the threaded end hole, tilt the carto, and add 18 drops per ml of capacity into the stuffing (Boges and most KR8 cartos are about 1ml).
Wait 15 seconds or so then see how many more drops the carto stuffing will soak in easily.
Clean up the threaded end, tilt open end down into tissue, puff into threaded end to clear air channel (Boges and the KR8 cartos I use have a defined center air channel and I want to see light through that)
Sop up any loose juice above the stuffing
Cap and let it settle - I lay it on different sides for 15-20 minutes to make sure every bit of stuffing gets damp so I won't singe the carto. if you use thicker juice than me (I use 20% Vg or less) then you may need to wait much longer.

While vaping, if the vapor gets a bit light or a bit dry or the carto is getting hotter than normal, I take the carto off the battery and add eliquid. I sometimes use a plastic or delrin drip tip as a mouthpiece on Boge and KR8 cartos (not to drip into since the juice would head for the central air channel)

What dose of nicotine are you using? The larger the dose the harder the throat hit. It could be the juice you are using 75/25? Strait PG?

Im currently using straight PG with 18mg nic although Ive just brought some 14mg Nic as im finding the throat hit to much. I have no where been adding that much juice, im gonna have a play around with it now and see what happens Ill let you know. Maybe I should get some VG juice and do a little mixing myself?

Wow... I have been on the 48mg for weeks and grabbed the wrong carto this morning with 36mg and thought I was losing it.

I would try more of a blend then straight pg. I like 70/30 pg vg or 80/20. gives you enough TH but still good vapor. I would try that before I lowered my nic level.
