@mudmanc4 - Got another email from Bulk Apothecary last night - their 12% off anything on their site...has been extended until midnight this coming Sunday. Code : EVERYTHING

I was going to pick up 50 lbs of VG from them but it came back "The coupon code you entered expired on 29th Aug 2016 so it can't be used." I think I'll wait and see if they fix it.

@Capt.shay - Just talked to Bulk Apothecary Customer Service rep. about the code not working. She said the email people received late afternoon on the 28th...was just a reminder that the then current sale was ending in just a few hours. I've never had a company send an email that: (1) was titled and worded differently yet was about the exact same sale, and (2) was sent only a few hours before a discount would end.

In any event...she also said they'd most likely be having a sale for Labor Day. Didn't give specifics of what was covered in the sale, but...might want to check it out later anyway.

Thanks for looking in to it. I need VG shortly so I'm hoping they have a sale. I'm not on their mailing list so if you could post it/tag me or what ever if you get an E-mail on it that would be awesome.
Hey Capt.,
Do you "watch" the Deals & Steals thread? This is one I have flagged because they seem pretty good about getting the word out for most of the major vendor's sales. Generally you only need the last page or two to keep up with what's current.

Been keeping an eye on the Deals thread but nothing mentioned.

JCinFLA any chance you heard any thing?

Low and behold the prices didn't go up and I have yet to see them be out of stock.
Wait, so you're mad because the price didn't go up? (Except it did, actually. They said the price for 4-gallon cubes would go up from $38 to at least $44. Lo and behold, 4-gallon cubes are 48 bucks now on the website which is, indeed, "at least $44" like they said it would be. Unless they were never $38 to begin with; I can't say for sure but since the threads discussing it weren't full of "that's not even what they cost right now though" posts, I have to assume it was true at the time.)

ED has good product pricing but they are making it all back in shipping. My opinion only...
buy through Amazon and get free shipping on orders over $50 (or on everything if you have Prime.)
EDIT: Ah, I guess the cubes are not eligible for free shipping. At least not the regular free shipping over $50, I don't know how all that works with Prime since I don't have it...

I bought my PG and VG in liters from Essential Depot through my Amazon Prime account with free shipping. It's heavy stuff, so free shipping is a plus. Both are good products that made excellent juice.

At my rate of use ~5-7 ml a day, a liter of VG will last me over 6 months, and as I'm usually at a 70/30 VG/PG, a liter of PG ~18 months. For me, having a liter of PG and 2 of VG with free shipping is worth it. Is it as cheap per ml as a 4 gallon cube? No. But I really don't know if a second gallon of PG/VG would even be any good 5 years down the road of finally finishing off the first gallon in the box.

Everyone should buy however much they want and store things the way they believe will be best. But IMHO, unless you're making LOTS of juice for yourself, buying by the gallon doesn't seem like the best approach from a long term stability perspective.

PG and VG aren't something I worry about going away. PG is used on farms and Tractor Supply sells it for that purpose. VG is a beauty shop item that Walmart carries in the beauty aisle.

The only thing I've overstocked on is 100mg/ml nic. My two liters will last me about 18 years making 3mg juice. I can make 99 liters of 3mg base from one liter of 100mg nic.

You're absolutely right Eskie. Find a product you like, from a vendor you trust, at a price you are comfortable paying, and buy it.
Then stop looking. The t.v. you bought for a $1,000 today, is going to be sold for $600 next month.

There is no such thing a too much nic. Think of it like a long term investment, it's value will only rise.

You can make 33.3 liters of 3mg, or 99 liters of 1.01 mg, but you can't make 99 liters of 3mg with that much, no.

You're right, it was 100mg/3mg = 33 liters ... my brain was lacking in caffeine and did the multiplication (3 x 33)when I posted that, but it's still a lot of juice. I was ordering 200ml of vendor juice a month and by my calculations I have almost two decades worth of nic base from two liters of 100mg/ml at that rate. I can make 66 liters of 3mg from my 2 liters of 100mg base.

I'm not quite as stocked as you are. I've got about 300ml in the freezer and not much room for more. And about 45ml out in my mixing kit. I have never really tracked how much I consume, but gun to my head, I would guess maybe 30ml/day on the high end so I should have a while yet in which to figure out something else.
