Where bottom feeders get air

Air comes threw the sides where the atomizer screws in. You will see four slots cut in the top of the battery side connector. Plus two holes in the atomizer just above the threads. The bottom hole was initially only there for automatic batteries that turn on when you take a draw off the vaporizer. Air really doesnt go threw it but the built up air pressure turns on the vaporizer. Long ago this type of connection was modified into the bottom feeder. Bad thing about them is if you get very much fluid leaking down the hole it will kill the pressure switch. There are sealed connectors also here is a picture showing the two types

The feed tube connecting to the positive positive can carry the electricity if the positive post doesn't directly.

I've found on the the atty connector for a 510 the two holes above the threads don't really do anything for airflow as they are blocked by the insulator, and all the airflow comes up the center hole. The choice of tube or needle size determines how much the airflow is restricted as it runs up the same passage.
