They sell an easy head its just a version with no screen or anything on it and you have to make adjustments by hooking it up to a computer to change wattage or voltage..

Joyetech eVic easy head

Can someone who owns this unit confirm this is true? Im asking because there is a lot of confusion going around about this unit being a VV or not....

I cant seem to find any info out there... and the only youtube vid on it has a guy saying its NOT A VV...

Go to the link I listed above joyetech says its either constant or variable. :) I know you have to hook up the usb to your computer to adjust it.

just curious as to how you know this?

The joyetech website is the only one ive found that says its "variable voltage" and technically, that only means it OUTputs different amounts of voltage.... Unregulated mode will put out 4.2 then the voltage will "vary" depending on how much battery life is left..

Does anyone have one of these units?? I cant find any info!! grr

I dont know for a fact because I dont own one. My local vape store sells them and thats what they told me. They said it can be adjusted with a computer. I still have the original head. If you cant adjust them then this sucks! With No VV whats the point, I have mechanical mods that would put the evic to shame. Im not even sure what the voltage drop would be in this device...

Heres a whole thread about the easy head
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/evic/409597-evic-easy-head.html

Heres a seller for 39.99 for the control head Ive never ordered from them so I cant vouch
Joyetech eVic Control Head; Could choose Battery Tube ($10.00/pc) [EVIC002] - US$39.90 :

ahh I need to learn to use the search engine properly...but no one on that thread really knows either..

Its looking like this unit is just a T2 with usb and fit flush for the ECA atty...nothing more.

Joyetech calling it a "replacement" for the Evic head is deceptive...and calling it a variable voltage mod when all you can do is adjust from 3.2 to 4.2 is plain LAME!!

I doubt youll even be able to adjust the voltage.... either way...LAME.

Dtori, thanks for the link man... that is one hell of a deal
