There are lots of fillers you can use, I, like Athlon, use the fluval (white) one box will last a very very long time. Poly fill like for quilts as JLCanery stated is another option. There are those that prefer teabags cut into strips and rolled up. (lose the tea first!) And those that use papertowels.
Cartridge Mods will give you all the ideas you will ever need or want!

eclypse; Just remember, you don't want any additives like fire ......ant added to it--that's why I went with fluval, since it's used in a fish tank it has to be chemical free.

If you get anything else, check the labels carefully--just remember some of the chemicals they put on those fillers might wind up in your lungs. (that's the other reason I used fluval).

Thanks for the tips guys! Yeah i just got home from runing to Jo-Anns and spent an hour easy looking for that damn Poly fill! I also found some 100% natural wool.. interesting stuff so i bought it even though i ordered some earlier today to try.

Also hit a Mejers on the way home to grab some tea bags/coffee filters and some tiny staws. heheh. Yeah i plan on getting something working good this weekend and want to try it all.

Oh.. thats for the warrning on the poly fill oldtechno! I just checked the bag of poly fill and at first i thought it was good to go as there was nothing saying fire safe.. untill i looked on the side of the bag and it said it meets the california flamability requirments blah blah, blah. So i guess i cant use this stuff then. :( Oh well paid too much for this huge bag at $10 bucks.

I guess i'll have to go hit up a 24 hour Walmarts and hunt for a poly fill bag there..

Do you think they will have that fluval stuff? What is it? Is it the filter material? Hopefully i cant find it there hehe.

I found this at a pet supply store. Not sure if wal-mart carries it. It's worth a look on-line.

Well personally i thin i'm done trying to use poly-fill. I cant stand the burnt taste i get using it. From the regular filled carts to a cart i pack myself.. its nasty.

At first i was thinking it was just a burnt dry atty but now using a brand new atty and cart along with trying tea bags.. so far no nasty burnt taste! Not sure about the tea bags though at the moment cause it does'nt seem to hold the juice that well as theres not much there.. i may be just over loading it or not waiting long enough for it to absorb the e-liquid.

Next i may try the wool i bought from jo-anns.. though i dont know how clean it is or if they used chemicals to clean it. I may just try washing some and try it out.

Does it burn and taste nasty like the poly? Or is it different cause it obviously shoud'nt be treated with chemicals like normal poly-fill?

I'd would'nt mind trying it.. and i even have a filter as i have a fish tank, though i cant use that one as i'll be needing it soon hehe.

I just hate to get that nasty burnt poly on another atty and ruine it.. i now have 4 nastey tasting attys that i need to figure out how to clean in hopes to get rid of wahtever residue thats on them from the burnt poly.. if thats what it is.
