I will give my experience and the experience of some of my friends. Many of us start of with an Ego battery, and Ego tank that takes Evod atomizer heads.
We then quickly move on to a VV/VW (( variable voltage variable wattage )) many go to the Ego twist, some to the more expensive Provari. I found my niche was the Vamo.
Then many move to a mech which i do not recommend at all till you are kinda "pro" at building coils..
As for atomizers.. as i said many start off with a Evod tank, move to a Davide or a protank, then go for something like an igo-w or igo-l.
No one can really tell you what will work for you sadly, it is simply whatever keeps you off cigs.. I personally feel that the setup that will be the most successful for most people is going to be:
A Vamo v5
2 Efest IMR 18650 battery's (( i recommend the 1600 high drain ones, for safety reasons if you ever decide a vamo is not enough for you ))
A Good charger, like a Nitecore rev.2 or rev.3
A good atomizer. I like the Igo-w but make sure you get the authentic with post holes or else you will hate making coils. Or the trident clone
from fasttech.
Some source of wicking, This is a highly debated subject, you have to find what works for you. Some like cotton..silica.. ekowool... hard porous ceramic.. stainless steel mesh..or xc-116 ceramic. I prefer silica (2mm) and xc-116 ceramic from RBA supplies. make sure that the ceramic is kiln treated.
Kenthal Wire.. 32ga A1 round is a excellent start. Others alsop use 28ga. (( the lower the number the bigger around the wire.. the bigger around the less resistance, the less resistance the more wraps, the more wraps the more vape. Thats the general idea at least, however 32 treats most people perfectly fine. 28 is more for advanced building)
A pen torch like a burnzomatic for annealing the wire, and cleaning wicks. i recommend that silica and ceramic get a burn before use just for safety. Almost all of my recommendations are safety based.
While this list will cost you over 40 (i got the same kit for 90, but it does not come all in one) It will vape almost however you like it too.
This is my recommendation only, and is based on my experiences. $90 may seem like a lot, but if it keeps you off cigs, your good to go. I will not recommend juices because those are subjective to your taste. i found that my juices i loved, the longer i was away from smoking, also changed. so.. i cant even recommend juices to myself, haha. I wish you all the best in quitting smoking. Vaping and the good people of ECF have been a God Send to me, a blessing.
Again, hope this helps!
PS: Make SURE you get your battery's from the usa. Also avoid Ebay for batteries. Buy from an online shop.
