Where do I go to learn the lingo?

Total newbie here; I've got my e-cig at a local store and know a few of the new terms, but there's a bunch I don't understand when reading info on other posts. Is there a thread or stickie on this forum that explains what ohm, cartomizer, and all the other terms and abbreviations mean? Link if possible pretty please!

Welcome to the ECF Postergirl, best place to learn is right here. A few of the members have blog posts that explain a lot of the terms that we tend to use a lot.
One that I found useful when I first started was http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blogs/baditude/3230-1-proper-terminology-carto-tank-what-primer-juice-delivery-attachments.html from Baditude (thanks again Baditude, this was so helpful to me when I first found ECF)
It'll give you lowdown on the differences between all the different terms and names for the different juice delivery devices.

Another good way is to watch youtube videos from PBusardo (unable to link due to forum software) but he has some great reviews and tips for new vapers (as well as more experienced folk)

Uh, Marx? Did you really just refer someone looking for lingo to a site that uses such a phrase as "from smoking to e-smoking"?

It's called vaping, not e-smoking. There is no smoke, lol.

Luckily, I think they are hard to find. Reading through the threads sometimes words will be underlined when you hover over them and you can click for the definition. It doesn't work with my browser, but most everyone else's. Welcome!

It was a joke Postergirl, don't worry about it. The janty stick is from 2009 / 2010 I think. Some other member was talking about one recently so I did a little research on it - it's looks like a USB flash drive and intrigued me.

That helps. People who like to tinker really take to vaping. Admittedly, this is more bother than smoking. Unfortunately some people who try vaping just can't be bothered with that. "gadgety-ness" - good. lol
