I have been using Box Elder exclusively. Most people rave about it, but the bottle I have been using has a pretty strong smell and is quite yellow in color. I have another, unopened bottle from BE and I am hoping to have a better expeirence with that bottle. If not, I will have to look elsewhere, perhaps give RTS a shot when they are stocked up again.

MIne is like that too from BoxElder, via through Gourmet Vapor. I can't use it because the smell permeates my DIY juices. Try XtremeVaping's nic juice. It's 100% flavor less and crystal clear like water. My 2nd favorite place is MyFreedomSmokes.

I had the exact same experience with BE nic. It turned dark and had a strong odor fast. I have been using RTS and have been very happy with their products so far.

I had the same experience with MFS nic. I used them when I first started DIY but the taste permeated through to my ejuice mixtures.

I have also tried and liked Crystal Clear Vaping although they tend to be a little pricey.

The two bottles of BE nic that I have purchased have been from Gourmet Vapor as well. I did just order a 100mg 60ml bottle from BE direct yesterday, so we shall see how it goes.

I truly think it is the BE nic that has made most of my DIY juices taste "off" and or downright bad in some cases. There has been a "nasty" smell in the vapor of most of my DIY liquids for the most part they all seem to have a flavor I am not digging. I did make a small no nic batch and it seemed much better. I am pretty bummed with my first round of BE nic, since it came so highly recommended.

It has been awhile since I bought from them but in the beginning I was very happy with the nic. It really didn't start to smell and taste off for probably about a month but that was stored in a cool dark place so I felt that it should not have happened that quick.

The nic that I got from MFS always tasted and smelled bad to me but I thought that is the way nic smelled and tasted until I heard others say differently and I tried other nic.

What you might want to do is to freeze what you won't use right away to be on the safe side. It works well for me. But don't get bummed out by it. Once you find the nic and flavors that you like it is so easy to DIY not to mention so much less expensive :)

I'm sorry to hear about all the bad experiences with BE - I'm one of the people who talks them up all the time because I've never had a bad experience with their base. I'm on my 6th 250ml 48mg from them since I started DIY, and have yet to have anything but clean, clear nic.

If I led anyone to an unpleasant experience, I'm sorry - but I can only speak from my experiences with them, which has always been exemplary. I'll continue to use them until I get a less than worthy product.
