So, I need someone to explain everything about this to me. I really would like to try this as a route to getting off regular cigarettes. I've been smoking for over 40 years, one heart attack and probably barreling towards a second one. I've tried quitting many times without success but this looks like an option that might be worth trying. And....I'm in Canada and not understanding if I can actually even get an actual nicotine product here.

I am rather new a all of this too, and sorry I don't have an answer about availability in Canada. Maybe some of the more experienced here can answer that for you. I will be glad to share what I have done that has worked for me. I smoked for 38 years and never ever thought I could give them up. I got interested when I met someone who was successful quitting with Blu. First off--I have wasted a lot of money so maybe I can help you save--by sharing my mistakes.
I purchased the entire Blu system and lots of cartos (too many)--that system did not work well for me. I am busy and the batteries seemed to last about 20 minutes. The flavors were good--but the battery sucked. When I would be without battery I would just go pick up the smokes. So I cut down but didn't completely quit.
I figured there must me something better out there and googled a Vapor Store in my town. I wanted to go in rather than order on line the first time and I am glad that I did. They were very helpful and set me up with what I needed to get a good start. I bought two Vision Spinners and 4 T3s clearomizers and a good variety of juice. In just one week--I was completely off analogs for the most part. A couple of times I picked one up and just really couldn't get through the whole thing--they did not taste good at all and smelled worse!!
So within two weeks I was completely vaping rather than smoking.
This set up worked well for me--I have just upgraded with a Vamo 3 and I ordered a Provari--to have more choices on how I wanted the set-up to work. I know I will never go back to smoking and I feel much better.
I call my little set up my "magic wand" because to me it is magic. My family and people who know me well are amazed--all have said--they thought I would be one that could never quit, because I had tried it all--patches, pills, hypnosis--and cold turkey! Nothing had worked until this!
