Where do you people get your HV atomizers in Canada ?

From what I've heard you might as well just get a 3.7v device with a regular atty on it, as the HV atty just restricts how much power you're getting.

But if you're set on getting a HV atty you can get them from: 510 HV Atomizer

The point of any "rated" atty is to find YOUR preferred sweet spot vaping with YOUR specific juices (both for flavour AND heat of vape), nothing more & nothing less. It comes down to "whatever works for the individual" to get that satisfying result that helps or keeps them from smoking cigarettes..... there is no wrong or right in that finding.

However, once that individual finds their sweet spot for themselves, they can gear they're choice of device/batteries on the total wattage that they prefer to vape at. Meaning, they now have different choices to base it on should they wish to choose something else to appease the cosmetic, bling, size, length of use before recharging, choices once they have.

That's my take on it all..... and it goes without saying (or question rather)...... Are people ever REALLY satisfied in the end (aside from just not smoking) ? lol.

HV attys were created to perform with voltages above 3.7V to keep the output wattage within reason as well as to avoid discharging li-ion batteries beyond their safe rate (or causing clipping in the protected batts). What attys you will be able to match voltage for depends on the capabilities of the particuliar VV device you have. Multi-battery VV devices are capable of different voltage ranges depending on how the circuits in the device are designed. Single battery VV devices like the ProVari by ProVape use a buck/boost circuit to allow a range of about 3.3 to 6.0 volts. The great thing about a VV device is the ability to tune the Volts to match whatever atty you have on there. I use standard Joye 302 attys on mine but still vary the voltage some to compensate for loss of performance as each atty ages as well as to compensate for the differences between different batches of attys. Once you get your device, find your favorite "sweet spot" atty & Volt combination thru trial and error.

I'd imagine that if the VV range offers you YOUR sweet spot with the atty's you use then no, you would not need any others. But, the choice is yours to experiment with even though "mathematically" you should be able to find that sweet spot with a VV device.

It would also help in finding that sweet spot (personal prefered wattage), and relate it to the different types of juice flavours out there (as many seem to change with different wattages), and will allow you to take advantage of sales going on on different atty's so you'll know where to "dial in" to on your device.

wish i knew but i didnt think polarity mattered in mods o well hopefully be back in a week or something

Damn! That is horrible wood. I took almost a year to finally purchase a retail mod and at the time VV hadn't hit super stardom in the community. I'm sure if you had the chance to try the device before it failed, you would be even worse off because you would know what you're missing. Have you contacted RNR? It's possible they might fix it.

Damnnnn thats sucks brother. Good to hear Ryan will still help ya out, he's a good guy.

I'd just ask him to include a copy of the instructions when he sends it back. Otherwise I could scan mine or something for ya.

I know another guy that had a similar issue with his frying as soon as he got it and Ryan a took care of it as well.

No problem, let me know how they are. What voltage are you planning to use them on?

A 5 volt, 510 connector box mod using two 14500 batteries. I hope it's all good because I already ordered the 510 HV atomizer, 10$ for it and 8$ of shipping, so at 18$ an atomizer it better work :)

When electronics are involve yes. There is an in and an out and they are not interchangeable. On mech devices it doesn't matter on most models.

well thats good to know , ive asked for a copy of the instruction manual once my box is fixed and i have a hv 306 just sitting here waiting to try it ,

i have one question about the batteries i was using when this happened , are they unsafe to use now
