Where is your ideal Vacation Spot?

Reading about mmcalls' going to Panama City thread ( have a great time by the way! ), was thinking about where you all would consider your best vaca spot?
For me it would be between Alaska and Las Vegas, I'm a Gemini can ya tell?
So tell me your favorite places!

Ms. Plantlvr think it would be Norway or Australia... As of right now though, Rehoboth DE is the best vacation spot I've actually been to. Plenty of great beer, friendly people, dogs, and beer.

Kauai was my favorite! You can't help but relax (unless of course you're Ziplining or ATVing) But I have a million places I would like to visit. Right now, my ailing old kitty requires too much care for me to leave him for too long.

Samoa, Fiji, Hawaii, Italy, Paris, and Ireland. And I would like to do Amsterdam one time and really just get violently inebriated and have a friggin nutso night lol.

Also planning on making a yearly surf trip to Costa Rica for a week.

Not that I have many places to compare it to, but I'll stick with Australia. And not Sydney or the bigger city capitals (although what they offer is great), but rather the small Mayberry-looking towns where they have a bonfire/drum fire and a barbie every night and everybody is invited.

Ahhh, yes.

But I'd still like to have a nice vacation in rural Japan. I'd stick out like a sore thumb and probably get challenged to Sumo wrestling matches, but I think it'd be a crazy experience.

kauai was nice but it was 1987 if money was not an issue ...italy for the food and the scenery ...all of it ,north ,south ,i dont care .But for now ,i settle for my twice yearly reno trip ! ( i drive thru the sierras and its beautiful )

Not a day has gone by in almost 6 years since that I haven't thought of my honeymoon in Maui and let out a wistful sigh. Paradise isn't a word, it's an island chain. I hope to go back for a 25th wedding anniversary, but even that seems like too soon to save that kind of money. I think I'll head to bed now and hope for a night full of dreams all about ukelele music playing along to the sound of the Pacific surf as I watch the Hawaiian sun set between the islands of Moloka'i and Lana'i...sigh...

Costa Rica. Stay away from the tourists spots and thats what you'll find.

Im an island girl,Give me a nice resort that has restaurants and bars and a big pool on the beach and Im good to relax.I prefer its not to crowded and it has a hamock.

It's not really a "place" but a cruise around the Carribean! I did it once and loved it! One day I will go again!

Been to Jamaica 3 times...You couldn't ask for a more relaxing vacation spot, at any of the Sandals resorts. I've also been to Maui, Hawaii, but I would go back to Jamaica anyday!!!​
