My vote, after seven years of vaping, is the mechanical REO Grand. No worries about chips going bad. Fully mechanical and built to last a lifetime. The absolute hassle free vaping experience.

If you're a mouth to lung vaper who likes flavor, then I recommend the Origen Little 16 atomizer. The clones are basically just as good as the original.

Best wishes with whatever you choose to purchase.

If a single coil is good for you i recommend the rsq and nudge 22.
Rsq is single 18650 up to 80w and performs well. Small form factor too.
Nudge 22 is easy to build and has awesome flavor. And surprisingly leak resistant.
Around 100 for a full set up, not counting batteries.

Dead Rabbit SQ is a no for MTL. But I use the two smallest ir hole for a very restrictive low wattage DL, and it’s great for that.

Vapefly, I have no experience with it,

Berserker MTL RDA is excellent. On a regulated squonker I like it better than my Speed Revolutions. On my little Squeeze I still like my Speed Revolutions better.

Agree on the Nudge 22. I use it in rotation with the Pulse 22 and Wasp nano, but the Nudge 22 gets surprisingly little praise.

I like all three of the above for different reasons/setups, but if I had to chose one of the three to survive on, I think it would be the Nudge 22. Highly under-rated little squonk topper.

The RSQ is also a very nice little regulated mod. No real complaints with mine except it won't allow toppers with long 510 pins to sit flush, but I've only got one topper that is a problem with it. The Nano, Pulse and Nudge all sit great on mine.

I don't currently use TC, but folks who use it on the RSQ seem to think it does a good job. I prefer the RSQ over the inbox due to the size/feel of the mod. Also, my Inbox is the V2, I would probably like it a bit more if it had the standard bottle system of the V3.

I know the Pulse 80w will probably be a bit bigger than the Inbox (not sure), but since it will take a 20700, I can live with that. If the Pulse 80w does a good job with the Vandy chip, it will probably be my primary device, at least for out and about. The RSQ will be second in the rotation, followed by the Inbox.

The drone is dna75c and might do replay in the near future but I’ve heard complaints about both the squonk hole and the sheer size which I am bluntly basically prepared for (all 2 battery squonkers are gigantic, that’s reality)
Therion is 75C, Drone has dna250 chip(166W)

Hey Hightech. How does the Finish seem to be Holding Up on your RSQ?

I have a Silver RSQ, Love It, and am going to get Another one. Was thinking of getting either one in Blue or Black.

I have a dozen squonkers, all unregulated, in my rotation:

Reo Grand (2)
Reo P67 (3)
Pulse mod (3)
Hugo Squeezer (1)
Coppervape - aluminum (1)
Coppervape - brass (2)

My favorite RDAs for squonking:

Hadaly (6 - 3 authentic, 3 clones)
Stumpy (2)
Origen Little 16 (sold my three authentic, now have 5 clones)
Pulse 22 (3)
Wotofo Serpent BF (1)

I have other, larger, dual coil RDAs with squonk pins, but prefer single coils for better battery life. Also picked up a couple of Entheon clones and really-very-super ecstatic that I didn't buy an authentic version. The only marginal improvement I can see over that Hadaly is the clamps (and I don't care since I use single-wire coils in my Hadalys) - everything else is a negative - more restrictive airflow (might be a plus for MTL vaper), proprietary drip tips, kinda ugly (subjective, of course)

Nothing especially exotic in my collection, but I won't buy a boutique squonker for 500 bucks, and probably wouldn't even spring for a $230 Reo P67 - though I plan to keep mine forever. If I do add more, it will likely be a sub-$100 regulated box like the new Pulse.

Probably the best bargain in my collection of squonkers are the Coppervape mods. The brass definitely hits harder than the aluminum, but the brass is heavier than I would like to carry in a pocket. I usually carry a Reo Grand when I'm out.

My black RSQ still looks as good as the day I got it (early December 2017). By far the best mod I have owned.

Very Good to Hear.

My Silver's Finish has held up very well also. But I have only had it for about a Month. So I wanted to get some Feedback before I pulled the trigger on either a Blue or a Black one.

Just to input something. You dont need spent a lot of money, to get good vape from squonking. My best of everything recepe compination is.
1. Pico Squeeze
2. Drop rda(single coil flapton round 0.2)
3. Vtc6 or LG Mr Hankey or similar(capasity)
4. Size compact
5. Original squeeze bottles are better then those supersoft(so called), and yes, original is more soft pc!
6. With one battery you get around 15ml squonking pleasure/a day or so.

7. Those together iis about 40$ plus battery and coil und liquid
8. Customizing, batterycaps, sleeves, imatination and creativity on add ons. There is muchos love for squeeze, and there for lot of acessories, only to find(maybe not so easy, because small enthusiast doing, mostly in Europe)

I have a lot of highend devices, hasbeens and those i still have, but this combo is my goto setup. There is a little pit overhang(23mm is ok, 24mm is 0,5mm overhang for squeeze. Also i have pipeline pico 23 battery cap on it, so it maybe different thing with original cap?)

If you have pico squeeze and drop rda, and you havent tested this compination? Test it;) its a suprizely Wonderfull ! But not supersizely.....yeah...ugh

ive got 3 pulse bf squonk mods for testing my hand at different builds to see what i like and prefer for flavor and good vapor but i like to focus flavor personally but using a single 18650 with incl. adapter works great( personally find 20700's too snug of a fit and tore wraps on them crazy fast cuz those 20700's are tight and too snug but a couple 18650's can be just as good or better depending on what u look for. i do Strongly recommend your comfortable with ohms la b4 getting a mech squonker but good safety net to start is build above 0.20 ohms

tore wraps on them crazy fast cuz those 20700's
I still have yet to tear a wrap on my pulse's (had them for 6 months, one with 18650s and one with 20700s) or any other mod after 3 years vaping (I have used 50 - 60 batteries over those past 3 years, , with 40+ still in regular rotation). If you take a little time and insert the battery evenly and slowly it isn't that hard to avoid a torn wrap. In fact, I have never even bought any spare wraps/insulators to be able to rewrap a battery.

to add to my ramble i my 2 main squonk set ups are noth same pulse bf mod and 1 with pulse 24 rda in single coil setup, and for my dual builds i run a dead rabbit as my 2nd setup, now i do run builds at about 0.14 - 0.19 Ohms ofc using either a S9ny VTC5A or an LG HB6 as they cam handle the lower builds in my preffered range i mentioned now if building above 0.20 ohms u get more options for reliable and safe batteries to use

I've been wishing I had a bf pin for my stumpy since I got it. Really nice rda that would be well suited to squonking.
