Hubby lost the tip to his rn4081 - the little round part that covers the glowing bit. We can see the insides of it, the computer chip and all that stuff. It still works but it looks awfully weird and since he stuffs it in his pocket, it probably won't last too long that way.

We've looked everywhere, with no luck. Any ideas what we could use as a replacement, or where we could get a replacement?

I was suggesting just lots of superglue, maybe 3 coats of it. That should hold it all inside so it wont break, for a better looking solution you will need to look to someone else.

oh, ok I get it. yeah, that oughta hold it! if we can't find anything to cover it by tomorrow, I think we'll try that! I don't want the insides to fall out...

Do you have a dead 4081 battery? If so, take the cap from that one and put it on the one that has the cap missing. However, I have had several in the past do the same thing and I just kept using them without the cap

no dead batteries yet; hubby just started vaping a few weeks ago. the e-cig was a Christmas present to him, and his switching to them was a Christmas present to me

If you have not yet found a replacement or a solution give me a yell. I would simply exchange batteries out with you

Whatever you use, just be sure to leave vent holes in it or the battery won't work. What about slicing the end off of a cart. Should be the same diameter.
