Hey all, I had this wonderful idea to give up tonight and am on the hunt to buy the right ecig for UK delivery.

I understand the the dse901 is the best ecig around - is this the one being sold here? (www-javaelectronics-com - can't post the url)

Does anyone know the best/cheapest retailers for the UK for the dse901 ecig (if that's the one I should be going for) and for the cartridges?

Your help is much appreciated.

Forgot to mention, to save on postage I suggest you buy a starter pack (atomiser, two batteries, charger and some cartridges) another atomiser, extra cartridges, liquid of your choice - I currently is 18mg. If you can go the extra buy 2 starter packs that will give you four batteries, two chargers, two atomisers. Seems expensive but that will give you good backup if anything fails. The platinum model on the Totally Wicked site looks really nice and wont be mistaken fr an analog if you decide to try vaping in clubs etc (managers discretion of course).

I got my DSE901 from java electronics and they are a very good supplier for people new to e-smoking. They are also cheaper than most so if you don't like it you won't have lost too much money. The carts are very good value compared to other suppliers.

I've graduated to an intellicig EVO now, which I also recommend, although I agree that the 901 is the best basic starter cig.

I started with a 901 and they really are great e-cigs (platinum one is lovely by the way) but the only one i use now is as mouse recommended the Evo heres the link for ya

www.intellicig.com

much longer battery life, more vapour (901 is great for this 2) better throat hit, cheaper as well i believe and a recharge time of 30mins to 1hour as apposed to 4hrs

both excellent, choose yr weapon :thumb:

Wow thanks guys - I'm really looking forward to this new beginning.

I'm currently swaying between the Platinum Mini-eCig starter pack at Totally Wicker (32.99 with 5 mixed nicotine level cartridges) and the mini-ecig starter pack at Java Electronics (19.99 with 10 high strength refills).

Could someone tell me what the difference, if any, is there between the carts and refills? I'm guessing it's just different terming!

Sorry to post ..... here!

I've also noticed that the carts at ecigs.co.uk mention this:

"Cartridge life varies depending on personal usage but we have found that a typical 20 a day smoker may use 3 - 5 cartridges a day using the Mini.."

That means you can use up what it comes with in one day while the starter pack at Java comes with 10 refills - supposedly 200 cigarettes worth!

You only get one battery with the kit from Java by the looks of it. That's no good. You need two batteries so you can be using one while the other one's charging.

I'd go with e-cigs.co.uk personally. The customer service from them is great and with their starter kit you get two batteries, one atomiser and five mixed strength cartridges.

Thanks BadSeed. It does make sense - I'm just getting confused about cartridges and refills terminology - I'm guessing that the cartridges ecigs.co.uk supply can be filled up with juice you have to buy, whilst Java's refills are disposables to use then chuck away?

Ecigs say that 5 cartridges can be used a day whilst Java reckons the use you get out of a refill for the price is outstanding -

"Refills in packs of 50 for £16.99. One high strength refill is the equivalent of one packet of normal cigarettes for only 34 pence!"

Just seen your posts - Java must be lying there - doesn't make sense!

I think I shall order from the honest ecigs - thanks guys!

Once I order, should I get some juice too? I think I'll need to figure out how to refill the cartridges at some point so why not start as I mean to go on!

I understand I can just fill any old cartridge up with the juice and this works out cheaper? The question then would be - what juice? :)

You can get loads of different flavours of juice from e-cigs.co.uk as well as the kits.

As for which juice it depends on which nicotine strength you're comfortable with, so I'd hold out until you've tried the different strengths in your kit.

Refilling 901 cartridges is easy. Watch Dusty's topping off video here:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/new-members-forum/2562-helpful-links-videos-new-user.html

The liquid comes in dropper bottles so you just drip a few drops onto the cartridge filler to refill it.

As for which flavour, that's the trick. Everyone's different. I really like the Hilton and Riskee Yuice from that site, but you may have different tastes.

Thanks alot BadSeed. I've read the Totally Wicked liquids are great too - I guess it's going to be a lot of trial and error. I guess the carts in the starter pack are standard tobacco flavour.

I've emailed Simon to order and to find out more about that great offer for forum members here too.
