I'm looking for either SS or Delrin end caps that i can slap onto some poly tubing to make tanks. I saw the sink washers, but i want something that looks a little more professional. I looked at bigdaddyvapor but i don't feel like paying more for endcaps than i can buy an entire MAP tank for. Trying to keep costs down. If you guys can give me some instructions to build these without a lathe, or where to buy them, yu'd make my day. Thanks all.

When I was 1st making tanks well over a year ago I didn't have a lathe. I did have a real good drill press. So if you are clever it can be done without a lathe but let me warn you that inside O ring groove is a PITA.

I was thinking of using my press. What material should i use, delrin? and what should i use for the lathe tool?

Delrin is good for starters. I made my own lathe bits with a dremel from old paddle type drill bit. One problem is that most drill presses will only chuck a small diam. blank. I had a small 3 jaw 2" lathe chuck on my drill press. they are cool and only cost about 40 bucks. An inside O ring on a drill press is doable but by no means easy.
